"Taetae~ I am so sleepy~", Jungkook whined as he gave puppy eyes to the said male who smiled like a love sick puppy.

"Is that so? Then let me just carry my precious little prince to the class", taehyung didn't wait for any reply and climbed down his car, reaching the passenger seat immediately.

"Come on, koo. Climb on my back", he said softly and smiled when he felt Jungkook snuggling his face closer to his neck as he climbed onto his back.

"You smell soooo nice, taetae. I could just sleep-

"Don't!", his voice came out louder than necessary, startling the poor sleepy human on his back.

"The first hour is of Mr.Lee's,koo. You better don't sleep or you'll get a detention like always",he managed to say and tried to cool down his ignited cheeks.

"That old man", Jungkook whined sleepily but as soon as they entered the corridor, he was totally awakened by the students who greeted him enthusiastically - perks of being a sweetheart, while taehyung just acknowledged their greetings with a slight nod.

"Kookie! I missed you so much!",mingyu shouted as he ran towards Jungkook, who without any delay climbed down from taehyung's back and hugged the other.

"We met just yesterday~ but I missed you too, gyu",he chirped with equal enthusiasm,not noticing the awkward smile from taehyung.

"Mm... Koo, it's already late for our class-

"Oh right! Gyu, we'll meet at lunch! We're already late for the class! Come on, taetae! Let's go", Jungkook said and ran towards their class while holding taehyung's hand- his smaller ones fitting perfectly with taehyung's larger ones.

"Thank God we came on time, taetae! Come let's sit", Jungkook huffed as he went towards his seat while taehyung followed him wordlessly.

"You know? One day or the other your fangirls are gonna kill me,taetae", Jungkook muttered as he smiled teasingly at the so called fangirls who could do nothing but glare irritatingly at the boy.

"They wouldn't dare to, koo. And moreover, I would never allow anyone to even touch you", taehyung glared at the girls who immediately turned away in fear and Jungkook who saw this, giggled softly.

"Aww~ You're so cute, taehyungie" taehyung's world stopped when he felt a feathery touch on his cheeks. He just couldn't get used to the surprise kisses from the little one who in turn is always amused by the reaction he gets whenever he kisses him.

"Oh! Mr.Lee is here! Stop being a cutie and stand up to greet, taetae", Jungkook tugged at the stunned male who scrambled up immediately when he noticed the glare of his strict professor.

"Still thinking about your lover boy, I see~",Daniel, his best friend said as he hugged the dazed male from his side.

"Kookie~",daniel sighed as he gently wiped the stray tear that fell from jungkook's eyes.

"If only I was a bit more mature back then, nielie-

"It's already been 5 years, kookie. Don't beat yourself up for the past", daniel sighed as he kept hugging him.

"Why don't you just go meet him and confess your feelings,kookie? You know where he is-

"You clearly know why I'm not doing it, nielie-

"Oh please,kookie! How many times should I tell you that he would never think that you're a gold digger! Yes, today he's a well-known CEO of the biggest company! But, you've liked him since your college days, kookie! You just didn't realise until-

"Until he left me", Jungkook completed as he wiped off his tears when saw someone entering the cafe.

"Good morning,sir! Welcome to jia's cafe! What would you like to order?", Jungkook masked his sorrow with his bunny smile which immediately brought a small smile on the customer's face.

"I'd like to have a black coffee, dear" the middle aged man ordered.

"Sure, sir. Please wait for a few minutes. We'll bring it to you", Jungkook said as he bowed slightly and sighed when he saw daniel still looking at him worriedly.

"Nothing is gonna change with me meeting him, nielie. He already has a boyfriend which means there's no place for me in his life. I must not interrupt his life. He has moved on and-and I-I'm happy for him",he said as he moved towards the kitchen leaving a worried daniel behind.

"What should I do with this boy? Why is he so stubborn?",he sighed and welcomed the next customer.

"Kookie! You can leave first! I'll just clean the counter and leave in a few minutes", daniel said as he wiped off the counter.

"Are you sure, nielie?", Jungkook asked as he rubbed his tired eyes.

"I'm so sure, you big baby. Go and take rest. I can manage this from here",daniel said as he kissed his forehead who hummed and bid goodbye to his friend.

"I wish he finds his happiness sooner",he thought as he watched his friend's retreating figure before continuing his work.

Jungkook walked aimlessly to his apartment as he looked at the moon, his thoughts going back to what ifs- like always.

"Why didn't you wait for my reply, taetae? Why did you just go away after making me realise my feelings for you?",he sighed as he watched the nearby billboard with taehyung in it.

"You know? That day, as soon as you left me, I got a call. I heard them say that my mom is no more.",he said as he looked at taehyung who was smiling serenely at him- in the billboard. This was his daily conversation with the boy who stole his heart years ago. The only difference is that, the designs and the location of the billboard will be changing periodically.

"Things around me changed all of a sudden that everything felt like a haze to me. And when I finally started understanding it, I was all alone with no-one beside me! I lost my mom and you on the same day, taetae",he sniffled and looked back at the moon, trying to compose himself.

"This is bad,koo. You cannot stay with these thoughts for so long. What is done is done. You cannot change the past. At least try to be happy in the present",he muttered under his breath but sighed when he felt his tears flow nonstop. He really felt helpless at the moment and hated the situation he's in. He hated being depressed and this is one of those days where he couldn't stop crying. Atleast he has nielie with him who understands his mood swings and be there for him without being frustrated- for which he's immensely thankful for.

"If there's anyone up there who could help me.... This is all messed up and I don't know what to do, but please... please make everything right", he whispered as he knelt down at the pavement as he joined his hands together with eyes closed.

"Please make everything right! Please bring my taetae back to me! I don't even know if that is possible. But please!",he whispered with his eyes still closed- Unknown to him, a shooting star crossed the sky while the moon appeared to be smiling at the weeping boy with so much fondness.

I don't want Jungkook to be this depressed in the very first chapter. Sorry about that but yeah~the story should start and as I said, it is one of those days for our kookie
