"Do we need to ask hyun to bring the remaining desserts, nielie? Is there enough items there in your counter?", Jungkook asked through the phone as he glanced at daniel who was opposite to him- they've distributed the work with Jungkook managing the main course while daniel would manage the dessert counter.

"We have enough for now, kookie. Let's wait for another half an hour",he hummed at the reply but sighed when he saw taehyung approaching him for the nth time that day.

"What do you need now?",he grumbled under his breath, careful that no-one heard him talking like that to the top CEO.

"Great hospitality, bunny. I appreciate it! Can I have some japchae and chicken, please?", taehyung smiled cheekily, cooing internally at the cute annoyed boy.

"You only ate that for the whole evening!"

"I don't know why but they're really tasty! Maybe because they're from your hands-

"Runaway before I shove a whole spatula of japchae straight inside your throat", Jungkook hissed at the now laughing male who cared less about the few people around oggling at him.

"Taehyung", the playful atmosphere seized when a strict voice came from behind.

"Mother", taehyung called, his face devoid of the playful smile which is now masked with a serious expression.

"What are you doing here? Mr.Shin is waiting for you. Don't keep him waiting",Mrs.Kim said- more like ordered and taehyung instantly scurried away, leaving Jungkook gapping at the scene.

"What just happened",he thought but his expression turned grim when he saw the lady approaching him.

"What are you doing here? You've been leaching on him for years and when I thought you're finally gone here you are! To again leach off on a rich man-

"Yo lady! Are you out of your mind or what? I didn't ask anything about you! Why are you even talking about what you did to taehyung's father. Let me remind you if you've forgotten just like that a*shole right there. I know everything about you. Everything. And I wish you still know who I am and what I'm capable of. Don't play your dirty tricks on me or you'll regret ever knowing me",he warned in a hushed tone, making the lady gulp in fear.

"You-

"I don't know what happened all these years or more specifically what happened to taehyung to treat you like a sacred mother but pray to God- that is, if you have belief in him that I must not get to know the truth.",he walked closer to the lady before warning her in a dangerously calm tone.

"I will pluck off your head if you're involved in anything related to taehyung's misery. I don't care if that man remembers me or not. I will hunt you down and you clearly know that",he finished it with an angelic smile before going back to the counter and the people around them- though they couldn't hear most of the conversation could still feel the tension between them. And even if they couldn't hear them, the expression of Mrs Kim was more than enough for them to understand that the lady is about to piss her pants off.

"This is not the end to it", she grumbled as she rushed off and Jungkook just snorted at her before rolling his eyes when he saw jimin a few meters away from them, literally shocked by everything unfolding before him.

"That was seriously... Seriously wow",he heard him mutter as he approached him with his plate half full.

"You were really courageous back there! I could never! Did you know her before this? Wait? That means you must have really known taehyung before! Which means he was right-

"Look! I'm seriously in the mood of plucking people's head off and your head might be my 2nd target. But don't worry. I don't want to do that right now. So you better run off from my sight right away", Jungkook asked him pleasantly which brought chills down his spine and the very next second, he found himself sprinting off with his plate.
