Chapter 15

November 12th 2006

Preston, Amon pulls into his garage with his Audi R8. He climbs out of his car and heads for the lift, it opens up into his apartment, he takes off his coat and chucks his coat on the sofa, and he heads for the kitchen for a beer as he told Amy to stock his fridge two days ago with beer, food and blood bags. He sees that it's all stocked and grabs a beer as he drank some blood this morning and should be good for a day or so before the thirst grabs him. For the last few years he's been trying to ween himself off blood, but no matter what he does, after two days he's starving and needs blood, this annoys him as minions can go a month, but actually vampires can't go two days without a feed.

He turns the TV on and Reading vs Tottenham is about to kick off, he pulls his phone out and rings Stuart.

"Alright brother." Stuart answered.

"Alright buddy. Are you still coming round to watch the footy?" Amon asked him.

"Of course. I'll be there in an hour with Lucas and Danny. You got beer?" Stuart asked.

"Of course I've got beer. It's me we are talking about." Amon laughed.

"Okay. I'll see you in a bit. Come on Gunners!" Stuart yelled as he put phone down.

Why Stuart is an Arsenal fan and Lucas a Liverpool fan Amon will never know, but Emma is a Manchester City fan. He and Daniel are Manchester United fans, Persephone said she was a Liverpool fan, but he believes she said that because she knows he hates Liverpool, and she fancied Michael Owen when he played for them. Callum doesn't like soccer as he calls it and neither does Cassius, but Cassius doesn't like English football he prefers Real Madrid.

Amon drinks his can and decides to get another, he sits back down and his phone goes off.

"Hello daughter. Thanks for stocking up for me." He says to Amy.

"I can't believe that you are having drinks and never invited me." She scolds him.

"You don't like football. Plus it's only 2 in the afternoon I assumed you'd still be in bed as you're a lazy bitch." He says to her and begins laughing.

This makes her laugh. "I'm actually still laying in bed can't be arsed getting up." She laughed.

"So your home for good dad?" She asked him.

"Yeah. I'm not leaving Preston now." He told her.

"That's good. When are you coming to work?" She asked him.

"Tuesday 2nd of January." He tells her.

"Ok. Don't forget about Danielle. Bring her home to us." Amy asked of him.

"I'll text her to come to me, i've actually sent the Jet back to America, and it's sat in a hanger waiting for her." He tells her.

"Remember what I told you. Please treat her better or don't start anything with her. It's not fair on her." She tells him.

"I will do. I always keep my promises." He said to her.

"I know you do dad. Have you even had sex since you and Dorothy split?" She asked him.

"Bye daughter." He says and hangs up.

The truth is, he actually hasn't had sex in over a year. Kimberley offered herself as a birthday shag a few months ago, but he turned her down, he doesn't know what's wrong with him as Kimberley is gorgeous and even more beautiful as she's aged now in her mid-twenties. He texted Danielle to come to Preston and be with him, he tells her that the jet is at the airport waiting for her. If she doesn't want to come just let him know, so he can get the jet in England.
