Chapter 6: Fork in the road

Wrapping a towel around his body and tying his hair in another towel, Izika let out a sigh before entering a room which had a sign on the door which read 'Unisex.'

Inside the room, it wasn't exactly a fancy changing room as it was just a gym changing room. It having some lockers on both sides and benches in between where some of the suspects were sitted. Some were in their towels, others in their underwear and a few had actually finished changing.

"Ow... haven't felt such pain since I was back in school."

"P.E right?"

"Yeah.. those were the days."

Izika walked to the back of the room and stopped at one of the lockers, opening it to find his clothes which were now dry and folded neatly inside.

"All in all, I hope the Sir actually let's us pass. He can't disqualify us if most of us fell into the trench by accident."

"True."

Izika took off the towel around his head and folded it before putting it inside the locker. His hair dropping down onto his shoulders as one of the suspects, the Zeus woman from before, stood and tried her best to give a bow.

"Everyone, thanks for backing me up out there." The Zeus thanked as those in the room were only Capricorns and Libra.

Everyone was silent at first until the reptilian woman nodded before looking at the Zeus. "It's alright. We all needed the support during that test, I'm just surprised that no one thought of running away and tried to actually fight a guard. We thank you for changing our minds."

The Zeus laughed as she straightened her posture. "That's true. But don't give me the credit."

*Bang*

"Thank him or her for that idea." The Zeus zipped towards Izika and wrapped her hand around his shoulders, bringing him close while having her free hand point at him. However, she realized what she did and let go of him. "Oh, sorry. Am I invading your space?"

Izika shook his head. "It's alright. And about the plan it wasn't my idea which made us get out of that. I barely did anything. You guys were the ones who actually did it."

*BONK*

"So noble." A Zeus child bonked his head onto the locker nearest to him.

"Hey, another Zeus!-" The Zeus woman's smile became a frown with furrowed brows. "Hey! Where the heck were you during all of that?"

"Oh, I was hiding in your shadow." The child bluntly answered while looking upward at the ceiling.

"Why you little-"

The Zeus woman walked over to the child, and started to argue with him. The argument was more comical than dramatic as they were now just betting on something else rather than argue.

Izika shook his head with a small smile on his face, not noticing the Libra who walked up to him from behind. The Libra being dressed with a black sash over her bust and grey leggings, exposing the tattoos on her arms.

"Thank you."

Izika looked back at the Libra and gave a nod. The Libra would have smiled but seeing Izika's head and sensing him made her expression become bittersweet.

Izika noticed her gaze as he looked down and rubbed his arm nervously, looking back at her with a small smile and a shrug of his shoulders. The Libra raised brow but raised her hand, opening her palm before letting her Animus pile up on her palm.
