As Sergio pulls into the driveway, Val quickly scans the front yard, spotting Joshua walking up the path with a grocery bag in each hand. She turns to Sergio. "Can you just park and drop me off real quick? I'll go inside and change before he gets here," She asks, hoping to avoid an immediate confrontation. Sergio nods, parking the car and opening the door for her.* "Okay, hurry up. He's almost here," He says, watching as Val dashes to the back door

Joshua sets down the bags and unlocks the door, calling out a greeting as he enters. "Hey, Sergio! Hey, Valentina!" He looks around, noticing Val's absence. "Where's Val?" Sergio follows him inside. "She's changing. Said she needed to before you got home," He explains, setting the bags on the kitchen counter.

Just then, Val appears at the top of the stairs, nearly making it to her room to change but Joshua spots her. Joshua's eyes widen as he takes in her appearance. "What the...?" He starts, staring at the shirt she's wearing. "That's mine," He says, his voice rising. "You stole my shirt again, didn't you?" Val's face flushes, and she quickly tries to think of an excuse. "I, uh, borrowed it," She stammers. "It fits better than my stuff." She adds, trying to sound innocent.

"I didn't have anything... appropriate... so I.. I'm sorry" val stumbles over her words not wanting Joshua to be mad at her

Joshua's expression softens slightly at her apology, but his eyes are still narrowed in disapproval. "Appropriate?" He repeats, setting the grocery bags down and walking over to the stairs. "Val, you know you can't just help yourself to my clothes. Especially not without asking." He climbs the stairs, following her to her room. "And what do you mean, 'appropriate'? You know I don't care what you wear."

He enters her room and closes the door behind him, facing her with his arms crossed. "Unless... you're saying you didn't have anything suitable for a doctor's appointment?" His tone becomes stern, piecing together the events of the day. "Is that why you needed to 'borrow' my shirt? Because you didn't have anything nice enough to wear?" Val looks down, ashamed. "Y-yeah... I didn't want to wear those other clothes..." She mumbles. "I knew you'd get mad if I showed up looking like a slob though..."

Joshua sighs, reaching out to tug the shirt off her shoulders. "Come on, let's get this back and you can pick out something else to wear," He says, handing her the shirt. "And then we can talk about your appointment and why you didn't eat anything today." He adds, his concern evident. "And Sergio said you were acting strange at the doctor's office. What's going on, Val?" He asks, his voice softer.

she would change in her room the door open as she looks the her new clothes she bought "well all my clothes I have here are for parties and Sergio was nice enough to go shopping with me. But i don't know what he means by strange at the doctors." she find a cute crop top that was semi formal and cute

Joshua enters the room, watching as Val changes into the new crop top and a pair of jeans. "Parties, huh?" He says, raising an eyebrow as he sits on the edge of her bed. "You mean all you own are party clothes?" He shakes his head, folding his arms. "Sergio was right to take you shopping. You need some normal clothes."

He stands up as she emerges from the bathroom, smoothing out the wrinkles in his shirt. "As for the doctor's office, Sergio said you seemed a bit spaced out and restless," He explains, his gaze roaming over her new outfit. "You look nice, by the way. That top suits you." Val smiles slightly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Thanks. I just felt a little anxious, I guess. The doctor wanted to adjust my meds again."

Joshua nods, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Let's eat dinner first, and then we can talk more about it," He says, leading her out of the room. "And maybe after dinner, we can go shopping for some more normal clothes. Deal?" Val nods, following him downstairs. "Deal. And thanks for being understanding, Josh." She says, giving his hand a squeeze. "You're not mad about the shirt, are you?" She asks, hoping he's over it.
