28. The Beautiful Garden

"If you are here to cry and beg for forgiveness then don't waste my time....", Jungkook said as he opened the button of his coat and sat in his chair.

A woman in her fifties, removed tears from her eyes. For months she was trying to contact this man. Everyday desperately, she was finding a way to meet her son. She looked at the man infront of her with desperate eyes of a mother that were crying rivers to see her son.

Her lips wobbled as she said, "I am in no position to ask forgiveness, I think of myself as an equal culprit for what my husband did to you.  I should have questioned him about how he gained the position of CEO overnight. I kept thinking it was. Due to his hardwork, I was so naive and blind. If I were at your place, I would do the same. Your culprit is my husband and me. My baby is innocent, he doesn't deserve a sentence for what his father did. Please, please take my life but let my son go....... ", she cried.

Jungkook looked at her and he was experienced enough to tell between a lie and truth. This woman was genuine regarding what she said, "Your life is of no use to me..... You can leave", Jungkook said.

"P-please.... I-i am ready to do whatever you say. I can give you all I have, but please please let my baby go.... ", she said.

"He is not your son now.... He is my husband.... And he will live however I want... ", Jungkook said.

"I-i know why you married him..... I know Taehyung can't marry, you trapped him right? You trapped my innocent baby.... But please Jungkook what will you get torturing an innocent soul.... My baby can never even hurt a fly.... He doesn't deserve this.... ", she wailed.

"Life never gives you what you deserve. So Mrs. Kim..... Oh well, congratulations on your divorce..... Anyways, you can leave.... ", Jungkook chuckled. He knows about their divorce.

"Why are you keeping my son a captive while your culprit roams free?", she said. Nothing is above motherhood, you can't see the one you birth suffering no matter who is on the other side. Top of all that his husband confessed in front of her so she can't take his side knowing he did a grave sin of taking human life.

Jungkook looked at her and chuckled, "Eager to see your ex-husband dead... I will give him the worst death, just waiting for the right time..... ", he said, thinking of his cruel plan.

She was so helpless about what she could do now, "W-will you let go my Taehyung then? O-once y-you..... You ...", she said with tears in her eye. She has loved that man for a time now, how can she make peace with the fact of him dying.

"Yes, I will let him go. You will be free to take your son....", he said. What would he do with Taehyung after that? So, Jungkook will let him go.

"I am here to inform you that get ready..... You will be accompanying is in tonight's meeting.....", Yoongi said as he found Taehyung in garden with Jimin.

"Which meeting?", he said. "Remember a few days ago you gave opinion of signing in for a franchise..... Boss said you will accompany us and help lawyers check paper work regarding share percentages and stuff......", Yoongi said.

"Your boss doesn't trust me a bit, so why would I waste my energy again and again. What if some disaster happen naturally and he blames on me again..... I am tired of him blaming me for everything. I don't want to add one more on my plate......", Taehyung said.
