30. I Understand

The next day Taehyung didn't get to see Jungkook and the other didn't even visit him. Right now, both of them were not only on a different page, but they were hundreds of pages apart. When Taehyung make efforts, Jungkook does something to let him down. When Jungkook start to incline towards Taehyung thinking he may side him now, then Taehyung does something that the other is not expecting.

Last night, the way Taehyung worded it out made Jungkook stunned. How can a person like Taehyung say such a thing to him. However, what Jungkook couldn't see was, for Taehyung that man was still a father and others were still trying to save him maybe not believing Jungkook. It is natural, how can you trust someone who kept you captive, showing you false hopes and dreams, has been lying to you since the first moment over the man, who gave you birth and raised you.

When Jungkook rejected his offer with such brutal words, Taehyung realized that he shouldn't have said that. Jungkook maybe a monster but why would he need Taehyung to fulfil his desires? When he can have many. The whole night Taehyung wasn't able to sleep, regretting why he even think about Jungkook accepting it, when other has already told him, he wouldn't touch him without his consent. Last night what happened between them was mutual, Taehyung didn't stop it.

"Did he killed that man?", Taehyung spoke to Jimin who brought breakfast for him next morning.

"No, the whole point was to kidnap him to cause uproar. The man has family and kids. Ofcourse the CEO can't afford him being dead, so JayKay will offer him help to find out about his employee and in return he will get the deal done......", Jimin explained.

"Oh.....", Taehyung said lightly. "You didn't listen to my advice.... Did you?", Jimin said looking at his bruised neck and collar bones.

Taehyung looked up at him ashamed, he pulled up the fabric of his shirt to cover. He was so embarrassed, just before going to that party he cried infront of Jimin and said he hated that man. When he left this room yesterday he swore he won't make unnecessary interaction with JayKay, but he couldn't keep it for one night, "I-i am so....may be he was right.... I am nothing more but a slut, offering him myself just like that..... I can I even think of that......", he said sighing.

"Do you um....like him?", Jimin said, as he took out first aid kit. He made Taehyung hand lose lowering the fabric, "Can I?", he spoke holding an ointment and Taehyung nodded.

"I-i did like him before.... Before I came to know the JayKay I knew, was a lie.... What he showed me, was all a lie, just to confine me into the glass.... I was so stupid.....", Taehyung's eyes welled up with tears. Jimin was gently apply the medicine on Taehyung's now purple-maroon marks.

Jimin sighed sitting infront of him, "May that's the reason you keep chasing the feeling which is not there anymore......"

"B-but it was all so real.....", Taehyung said with a painful, hoarse voice.

"I am sorry you had to go through it.... You don't deserve that......", Jimin hugged the crying Taehyung. "If I am not wrong you had a three year relationship before meeting JayKay right? You were strong enough to heal from it. Then this was short term than this........"

"Y-yes.....but that was different.... W-what I f-felt with him was so different..... T-the way he used to treat me, t-talk to me, care for..... I-i was healed because he was there to help me......", Taehyung said remembering all those beautiful memories. Taehyung might not have lived them like that but when he thinks about it now, it was really a beautiful time. Now, it all felt like a dream.
