The Sky is gray.
The rain will fall soon.
The rivers are low,
Flowing towards the tug of the moon.
And by the river as I walk,
I see something amidst the rocks-
A toy cat, fur soft and blue.Blue Cat- What are you doing here?
Has it been months or years,
Or maybe just days?
Blue Cat- How long did you have to float?
Your matted fur as a boat,
To come all this way?Well the rain will fall
The waters rise
And nobody will hear your cries
And Blue Cat- Will be swept away!Blue Cat- Laying here all alone.
No family no loving home,
And nowhere to stay.
Blue Cat- Or are you at peace with death?
Knowing you've got nothing left,
To do or say.Well the rain will fall
The waters rise
And nobody will hear your cries
And Blue Cat- Will be swept away!Blue Cat- is anyone looking for you?
Searching for fur so blue,
And calling your name.
Blue Cat- Do you feel abandoned here?
If you could cry would there be tears?
Either way:Well the rain will fall
The waters rise
And nobody will hear your cries
And Blue Cat- Will be swept away!Blue Cat- Sometimes I think we relate
Awaiting an uncertain fate
We couldn't decide.
Blue Cat- You taught me a lesson that day.
Whether or not things go my way,
We still all die.Well the rain, it fell
The waters rose
And down the river Blue Cat goes
And never again
Will I see those eyes. The rain, it fell
The waters rose
And down the river Blue Cat goes
And no more tears
Will Blue Cat cry.
