The soft light of dawn filtered through the window of the Jeon family's modest yet cozy home, casting warm golden hues across the living room. The smell of freshly cooked breakfast filled the air, and the sound of soft humming drifted from the kitchen. Jeon Minji, mother to three sons, was busy preparing their meal. Despite the long hours she worked to support her family, mornings like these gave her peace. There was a comfort in the routine, in knowing that she could still care for her boys, even as they grew older.
From the hallway, the first to shuffle into the kitchen was her youngest, Jungkook. His hair was an adorable mess, his eyes still heavy with sleep as he padded across the floor in his worn slippers. His face lit up the moment he saw his mother.
"Good morning, Mom," he greeted, his voice gentle and filled with warmth.
Minji turned, a soft smile on her lips as she looked at him. "Good morning, Kookie. Did you sleep well?"
Jungkook nodded, taking a seat at the small dining table. "Yeah, but Hyunsoo-hyung was up late again. I could hear him working in his room."
Minji sighed softly. "Your brother is always working hard. But that's because he wants to make sure you and Jaehyun are taken care of."
Jungkook fiddled with his hands, glancing toward the hallway where his eldest brother's room was. "I know. I just wish he'd take a break sometimes. He worries too much."
Minji chuckled as she set a plate of food in front of Jungkook. "You're just too sweet. Eat up, or you'll be late for class."
As he began eating, Jungkook's two elder brothers finally made their appearances. Hyunsoo, the eldest, looked as tired as ever, dressed in a simple suit and adjusting his tie while holding his phone in one hand. He gave a quick nod to his mother before sitting down beside Jungkook.
"Morning," he mumbled, still distracted by the email he was typing.
Jaehyun, the second son, was the opposite-full of energy and mischief. He bounded into the room, slapping Jungkook on the back playfully as he took his seat.
"Morning, little bean!" Jaehyun teased, ruffling Jungkook's already messy hair.
"Hyung!" Jungkook protested, trying to smooth his hair down while the others laughed.
"Leave him alone," Minji scolded lightly, though a smile tugged at her lips. "He'll never grow up if you keep babying him."
Jaehyun grinned. "That's the plan."
Hyunsoo finally put his phone away and took a deep breath. "You should focus on getting to class, Jaehyun, instead of teasing Jungkook."
"Hey, someone has to keep the mood light," Jaehyun shot back. "Besides, it's my job to make sure our little Kookie enjoys his college life."
Jungkook looked between his brothers, a small smile on his face. He loved these moments, even though they often treated him like a child. He didn't mind-it made him feel safe, like the world outside couldn't touch him as long as he had his family around.
Minji watched her sons with a mixture of pride and concern. Her boys were growing up, but Jungkook... Jungkook still seemed so young in comparison. She couldn't help but worry about how he would fare in the real world.
"You boys take care of each other today," she said, her tone soft but firm. "Especially you, Jaehyun. Don't let Jungkook wander off on his own."
Jaehyun rolled his eyes, though good-naturedly. "Don't worry, Mom. I've got him."
Hyunsoo stood, grabbing his briefcase. "I have to head out. You two be careful at school." He paused, looking directly at Jungkook. "If you need anything, just call. And don't talk to strangers."
Jungkook blushed slightly at the overprotective tone but nodded. "I will, Hyung. I'll be fine."

On the other side of world,
The contrast between the Jeon household and the Kim residence was stark. While the Jeons lived humbly and worked hard for everything they had, the Kims lived in a world of luxury and influence. Their home was vast, with tall ceilings and ornate furniture. Yet despite the wealth, there was no shortage of warmth.
In the heart of the bustling city, where power and privilege intertwined with opulence and extravagance, lived Taehyung, the son of a renowned and influential politician. His days were filled with political discussions, lavish events, and the constant buzz of the social elite.
At the breakfast table, Kim Taehyung sat comfortably, lazily scrolling through his phone as his mother, Sunmi, set a cup of coffee in front of him. His father, Kim Hyunbin, was seated at the head of the table, reading through the morning paper with a satisfied expression.
"Tae, are you ready for your meeting today?" his father asked, glancing over the edge of his newspaper.
Taehyung gave a half-hearted shrug. "It's just another political thing. Nothing I can't handle."
Sunmi sat down beside her son, a gentle smile on her face. "You always make everything seem so easy."
"That's because it is," Taehyung replied smoothly, leaning back in his chair.
Hyunbin chuckled, setting the paper down. "That's my boy. Confident and capable. You'll do great things, Taehyung."
Taehyung grinned, but there was a flicker of something else in his eyes-restlessness, boredom. He had everything he could ever want,so why Soo worry!!
