The cat and the crow

p4 (butcher shop)

*heyyyy my lovely readers, I am sorry that I was not able to post a lot today I had a lot of stuff going on with my cat (😏) no but really he Is sick😔*

"What is he doing with him" Charles asked and I shrugged petting one of the cats

"Punishing him" I said looking at the cat 

"Is he hurting Edwin" Crystal asked her eyes wide

"No king is not that type of cat" I said softly as I scrolled out on cat bed that king put out for me

       (✨A hour later but a few minutes in cat time✨)

Edwin appeared with his friends and the cat king appeared behind me and whispered in my ear "I need you to go with them and make sure Edwin counts his cats" and I nodded 

I stood up walking over to them but I before I made it over there I see a runt of a litter and I picked it up

"Take care of your family for me, my little kitty" I said and the cat puffed out its little chest and meowed and I laugh a bit before putting it down and walking the rest of the way

"Come on" I said as Edwin was telling them about  his spell and rolled my eyes

We got to a butcher shop and I walked in first to see a woman with a butterfly tattoo on her neck 'bad ass' I thought as she stepped closer 

"Crystal who is this" the woman asked looking at me up and down, taking in my dark blue and black sun dress 

( I put us in dress but you can imagine you in anything you want💖) 

I walked up to her taking her hand in mine to riss her up (😏) "I am a friend of Crystal, I hope you don't mind me staying with her do you, kitten" I asked softly and she shook her head no

"I its Jenny" she stuffed with a blush 

"Apologies kitty" I said walking passed her following Crystal to her apartment

                        (✨A few minutes later✨)

Edwin was hitting the curse on one of Crystals banister

"Its not going to work" I pointed out but he ignored me and keeped hitting it 

"You think that's gonna do it" Charles asked walking across the room 

"You tried picking the lock" Edwin replied hitting it again "I can't go through the mirror to the office. No mirror travel. Other suggestions" he said hitting it more

"You could start counting cats. Like, counting them as fast as you can" Crystal suggested and I nodded

"That cat king would not give me something that easy. He's a trickster" Edwin said and I scoffed 

"He's not that bad" I said and they ignored me again

"Oh, right. He tricked my wary partner into allowing that bracelet to happen" Charles said in a duh kind of voice

"Oh" Edwin said hitting it against the banister and turned to look at Charles and Crystal 

Right now I was sooo happy I was sitting on the bed 

"Are we now pointing out poor decisions" Edwin asked "you possessed a witch" he said to Charles "exposing us to reprisals from the afterlife" he said doing this weird hand gesture "You know possessing the living sets off alarms" he said this time softer

"And yet nothing happened" Charles said "you always fixate on the worst outcome"

"You won't go going back to hell if we got caught. You just move on" Edwin said sharply and I let out a dramatic gasp but am still ignored

"Oi, we don't know what my afterlife looks like" Charles said with a soft chuckle "and also I am not going anywhere with out you" he said and I awwed "and no one's going anywhere until that thing is off. What else did whiskers say" 

I looked at him and gasped "that is offensive" and Charles looked back at me mouthing a sorry before looking back at Edwin

Edwin looked at his bracelet "nothing. I told you it was quick" he said hitting it again 

"Ok props for the, like, Herculean level effort, but vandalizing my shit isn't getting us anywhere" Crystal said and I laughed laying back on her bed 

"Oh, you love this, don't you" Edwin said and my drama sinces were going off

"Oh my god. Here we go" Charles groaned falling on the bed next to me and I sat up crisscrossed watching the drama play out 

"Witch part do I love Edwin hmm" Crystal asked "having a witch after me, or being harassed by my demon stalker ex." 

"She has a demon stalker ex" I whisper asked Charles right next to me and he nodded and I looked back at the drama

"No your right. I love being stuck in a strange town where I have a literal 0% chance of finding my parents." She said stepping towards Edwin before the door swings open and Jenny walks in 

"Enough with the banging" she said annoyed "whatever angsty, john hughes-level bullshit that's going on in here, just do it more quietly. I am trying to be patient because I have a pretty strong feeling you have nowhere else to go. So chill" She yelled at Crystal and I sat up and waved to Jenny 

"Hey kitten" I said and she blushed before leaving and I layed back down with Charles.
