There was a time I thought you were sincere,
But masks you wore were all I couldn't hear.
Your gentle whispers led me to the grave,
Of friendship's trust, a bond I couldn't save.

Manipulation was your quiet art,
A chessboard move, a fractured heart.
But now I see the person you became,
A shadow hiding underneath my name.

But now I see the person you became,A shadow hiding underneath my name
