INT. SABARU'S ROOM - NIGHT

Scrap metal and wires clutter the cramped streets thta was once a vibrant city is now a grave of shrapmetal and junk, An illuminated soft glow from a monitor displays a map of the area. Most of the map is covred in red indicating a no safe zone. Sabaru, 19, hunches over his holographic keyboard, brow furrowed in concentration.

SABARU: Darn it, looks like the glitches have taken over more land.

Suddenly the ring on his finger flashes red. A voice form the rig speaks.

MINAMI (O.S.) Sabaru? You coming for dinner?

SABARU: Almost done, Minami! Just marking down the glitches movement in the irrigation system.

MINAMI (O.S): Okay just hurry home before the food gets cold

Sabaru walks thorugh the busy streets of East Dosa Tanko. The whirring of gears, the clanging of metal, the shouts of merchants, and the chatter of humans and robots alike. The junkyard marketplace is a bustling hub of activity, a testament to the resilience of those who call this desolate place home.

Rows of stalls stretch as far as the eye can see, each overflowing with a unique assortment of salvaged goods. Mechanical limbs and heads are displayed alongside discarded electronics and rusted tools. The air is thick with the scent of oil and burnt metal, a pungent aroma that is as much a part of the junkyard as the towering scrap heaps that surround it.

Humans and robots mingle freely, their differences blurred by the shared struggle for survival. A human child, their face streaked with grease, bargains with a robotic merchant for a broken flashlight. A cyborg with a missing arm haggles with a human vendor over a salvaged prosthetic.

In the heart of the marketplace, a group of musicians performs a lively tune on instruments cobbled together from old machinery. Their music, a discordant yet uplifting symphony, fills the air with a sense of hope. The junkyard, despite its harsh conditions, is a place of resilience and community. Here, the broken find a way to mend, and the forgotten find a place to belong.
