Chapter Nine: The Captain

*2 weeks later*

"Yah, where is your ship? How can you be so careless and leave your ship to drive away without anyone steering the wheel?" "Sung Hoon, he said that it wasn't supposed to do that and that it was an accident." "I'm sorry Sung Hoon, I'll try to find my ship as soon as possible." Sung Hoon glared at Dae Hwi who apologized to him and started walking away, not until he stopped and spoke again. "And stop talking to each other, it's annoying..." He grumbled and walked into his room as Won Young apologized to Dae Hwi who felt bad. "Don't worry about him, we'll find your ship in no time." "Thanks Wonnie, you're the one that I'm really close to on this ship." Won Young smiled and hugged Dae Hwi, not noticing that someone was glaring at them and clenching his fist.

For the past 2 weeks ever since Dae Hwi came onto the ship, Sung Hoon was just getting jealous over and over again because of how close he was with Won Young. He really wanted Dae Hwi to find his ship already but couldn't so he had to wait longer. He noticed that Won Young was also avoiding him so he couldn't help but feel sad and hating himself for feeling these types of emotions to her. He found himself falling for her without even knowing and realized that his cold heart had been warmed up by a siren, a creature that killed his sister and he hated it. He cleaned his hands and stood up heading upstairs to wash up.

"Won. Young ah, do you like anybody?" "Um...w-why?" "Just asking because it looks like someone likes you." "A-Are you talking about the c-captain?" "How did you know?" "Well...he's the only single one here and Yu Jin keeps telling me that he likes me but...I know him, he hates my guts. Ever since I stepped foot on this ship, he despised me." "Hm...I don't know...but do you like him?" Won Young looked down and changed the subject, giving Dae Hwi his answer.
