It's a a month since mine and joes first date, ever since then we've been going out almost every day.. I couldn't be happier

The next day
I open my eyes as blurriness takes over.. rubbing them to adjust my vision I take the covers off myself and hop out of bed making my way downstairs to have some breakfast
after a quick little meal I rushed upstairs and got myself undressed and into the shower closing my eyes letting the warmth hit me feeling relaxed, I get out of the shower and clean myself up
*beep*
my head turns over to my bed side table and I see my phone had made a noise
'You have a new text message from Joe 🫶'
My face instantly brightens up as I grab my phone and checking what he said
Joe 🫶: GoodMorning beautiful ;) hope you slept well.. can't wait to see you today I'll be round in about 30 minutes
oh my god I completely forgot what do i wear?? omg I need to hurry up okay woah omg ok keep ur cool olivia....
Me: Hey handsome! I slept good. See you soon I can't wait 🙈
that was a lie.. I didn't sleep good
do I tell him that?

Joe 🫶: 😏
I looked at his message
what is that emoji supposed to mean???? oh my
the feelings I have right now is insane what is he doing
I close my phone and start doing my makeup, curling my hair making small waves before I spray some perfume on myself
*knock knock*
"COMING"
JOES POV
"COMING" I heard from the inside
making me laugh a little
'The door opens'
My eyes go straight to her godamn she's beautiful
snap out of it joe! she doesn't see you like that stop
"Hey" she breaths
I think I stared too long as all I heard next was
"Joe? Are you okay there?" She laughed
"Oh I- yeah I'm fine. You look very um beautiful" I grinned
"Well you look handsome yourself" she stands proudly
Do I tell her?

"I was wondering if we could stay in your house for abit I need to talk to you"
She makes a confused face
I start to stutter
"n-n-not that we aren't going out I didn't make you get ready for nothing I just thought we could have a little chat before we go" I said
She nods with a small smile and invites me in
OLIVIAS POV
We take a seat on my sofa which I barely use, why? I don't know
I stared at joe waiting for what he wanted to talk about.
He looked nervous anxious and even just lost
"Hey"
He looked up at me
"Are you okay?"
"yeah I'm fine" he spoke
"Joe I know you well enough to know there's something up what's wrong?"
"Well I.."
What is going on
What is he gonna say
I give him a smile to reassure him to carry on
"I just wanna start off by saying don't look at me differently if you don't agree I hope we can still be friends if you do-" he rambles on
"JOE". "it's okay say it"
He takes a deep breath
"the day I met you it was something I never even felt with anyone before, it was like a feeling only heaven could feel like. All our fun times together and all these memories we are creating has made me realise one thing that's missing and.." he grabs my hand "I want you to know that it's okay to say no.. say how you truly feel, I'm a tough guy I can take it" joe laughs "olivia we may have not known eachother for long but my mind is always you your always on my mind. I sound like a stupid idiot that's a little obsessed with you, Nick even tells me if she's always with you wherever you go why not tell her how you really feel?"
I thought about that last sentence

He carried on "I would like to spend more time with you and create more special memories that could fulfill a hopefully lifetime. olivia will you be my girlfriend?" he says
"Joe..." I look at him
"It's okay I understand I take a no i'll be fi-"
I interrupt him with a kiss.. it felt like the right moment I just had to. I've been feeling those exact things for awhile too I truly don't know what I'd do without him
he puts his two hands on my cheeks and I can feel him smiling through the kiss
I pull away and whisper in his ear "yes"
He jumps up and picks me up making me squeal
"JOE!!!!!!"
"PUT ME DOWN" I laugh
He starts running around my kitchen like the happiest man alive, after he's done with his little celebration he finally puts me down
He looks at me and gives me a smile
"I'm so glad I can finally call you mine"
"Me too" we kiss again but longer than the last one
it wasn't too much it was just perfect
