⭙ Chapter 14 ⭙

"Bobo." Jard shook Bobo. He didn't open his eyes.

"Bobo." Jard shook Bobo even more.

Jard had no choice but to splash water in his face. "BUHBUHBUH HUH?" Bobo sat straight up, then looked at Jard. Bobo gave Jard a playful push.

They ate breakfast, then did their training. Jard and Bobo ran on the race track, talking with each other during the way.

Bobo's vision became fuzzy, everything spinning around. His legs started trembling, as he slowly fell. Jard's eyes widened as he caught Bobo, laying him down on his lap. "BOBO!!" Jard shouted.

There was no response. "BOBO!!" Jard shouted. There was still no response. Jard carried Bobo and ran to the emergency room. "SOMEONE HELP!!" he shouted.

Three doctors came running, leading Jard to a room. He placed Bobo down on the bed, as the doctors did some blood tests and attached strings on him, to check his heart pulse.

Jard sat beside Bobo, intertwining his fingers with Bobo's. The doctors came back in, flipping papers through their clipboard. "It seems like it must've been anxiety that caused him to faint. Try to feed him more, he seems to have not been eating that much."

Jard nodded at the doctor's instructions. "And we would suggest for Bobo to stay here for a while. We'd like to watch him for a bit." the doctors fixed their glasses.

Jard nodded again, as he left the room. Things aren't so bad...right?

Bobo has gotten even more sick. The doctors came in with bad news, shaking their heads full of regret. "I'm sorry. He won't make it." They whispered.

And ever since then, Jard has stayed with Bobo all the time.

"Jard..." Bobo said weakly. He had trouble breathing, pain all over, confusion and slept more. Bobo even faints sometimes, everything is

over.

It was all over for Jard, and it was all over for Bobo.

"Bobo..." Jard whispered. He held Bobo's wrist softly. "I-I love you..."

"Jard...d-do...do you promise...that you'll love me forever...?" Bobo whispered weakly. He coughed a bit. His eyes turned from blue to gray.

Deadly gray.

"I-I promise..." Jard choked through tears.

"Do you promise...you'll stay by my side forever...?"

"I-I promise." Jard brought Bobo's hand close to his face. He set it down and gave Bobo one last kiss, one last goodbye. The kiss sealed everything, locking everything together.

Jard let go and softly caressed Bobo's cheek. "I'll see you soon...love..."

"J-Jard...I love you..." Bobo's eyes shut slowly, as the heart monitor beeped. Jard broke down sobbing, tears flowing down like crazy. "B-Bobo!!" Jard choked, as he got on his knees.

"I-I'm sorry. He was in so much pain and agony..." the doctors covered him up with a blanket. Jard continued sobbing, never letting go of those memories.

"I-I love you forever..."

Jard laid in his bed, in his apartment. There was nothing to look forward to, all there was to think about...Bobo.

Jard turned around on his bed, as he heard a knock on his door. He got up, his back aching from all those days he laid in bed, all stiff. He opened the door and spotted Galf, Defect, Trooper and Rose.

"Hey there...you fine?" Trooper asked.

Jard didn't answer. "I'm okay..." Jard's voice was groggy after not talking for days.

"You know...you can talk to us whenever you want to..." Galf said.

Jard nodded. "...Thanks." he then closed the door. He laid on the bed, looking at the pictures of Bobo and him spread out all over the bed. A blue trail seemed to light up on the floor.

"Please...no more reminders!!" Jard blinked and shook his head, sobbing. His heart was all shattered in pieces, as there was no way to fix it back.

He walked over to Bobo's house, spotting the beautiful room. It was all laid out beautifully, like how he was. 

There was a framed picture of him and Jard up on the wall. Jard looked around the place, opening some windows. A warm breeze hugged him, a hug he desperately wanted. A hug he needed. He cleaned around the house, he had to keep it clean for Bobo. He saw candles placed all over the place, on the tables, the windowsills, the counters and the shelves.

He replaced the dead flowers with new flowers, and started dusting the place. Once he was done, he laid on the couch for a while. He saw a notebook on the coffee table, and opened it.

"𝕭᥆ᑲ᥆'s 𝕯іᥲrᥡ!! : D" The name was written on the cover of the notebook. Jard opened it up, knowing all about Bobo's life. Bobo's life seemed to be full of adventures, unlike his. His was boring, all the same.

"𝐒𝗍α𝗒 ɦαρρ𝗒!! <3" Those were the last words in his notebook. Jard let out a tear. Bobo was right. Two words. It changed his whole way of thinking, he pulled out his phone.

Bobo sure knew how to encourage people. He was right, Jard needed to stay happy. He had to let out all the sorrow and regret go, he had a life to live.

He texted Rose.

> Hey...Rose...perhaps...we could go to the park with Defect, Trooper and Galf today?

Jard sighed happily. He had to get used to being happy, he couldn't be like this forever.

<...Sure! : D

Rose replied back.

"Thank you, Bobo...I love you forever." ☙
