It was a bright, sunny day in Gotham, a rare occurrence that seemed to bring out the best in everyone. The park was alive with laughter, the sound of children playing, and the occasional bark of a dog. Among the chaos, a small figure clung tightly to the hem of a dark pant.

Damien Wayne, the youngest son of Batman, stood with his back pressed against the fabric, peering out cautiously. His brows were furrowed, and his sharp glare was directed at a group of kids playing tag nearby. He held his toy katana tightly, ready to defend his honor if necessary, but for now, he felt more like a frightened kitten than a fierce demon child.

"Damien, it's okay," Bruce said s, kneeling down to his son's level. "They're just playing. You can join them."

"Why would I want to play with them?" Damien huffed, crossing his arms defiantly. "They're weak."

Bruce smiled amused "You'll never know unless you try. Just be yourself."

As Bruce encouraged him, Damian's eyes darted around, searching for an escape route. That's when he spotted a boy with , messy  black hair, baby blue eyes and an infectious grin running toward him. Jon Kent, son of Superman, was bouncing with energy, his laughter ringing through the air like a melody.

"Hey! I'm Jon!" he exclaimed, skidding to a stop in front of Damien. "Wanna play?"

Damian's heart raced. He peeked out from behind Bruce's cape, glaring at Jon with narrowed eyes. "tt Why would I play with you?"

Jon's smile didn't waver. "Because it'll be fun! I promise! We can be superheroes together!"

The offer hung in the air, and Damien hesitated, his grip on the katana loosening slightly. He had never been called a superhero before. "I'm not a superhero," he muttered, trying to sound tough.

Jon tilted his head, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Sure you are! You have a cool sword! That makes you a hero in my book!"

Damien felt a flutter in his stomach. He wanted to argue, to push Jon away, but something about the boy's sincerity made him pause. He glanced back at Bruce, who nodded encouragingly.

With a deep breath, Damian stepped out from behind his father's cape, his cheeks flushing slightly. "Fine. But I'm not weak"

Jon beamed, bouncing on his feet. "Of course not! Let's go save the world!"

As they began to play, Jon's goofy antics and constant chatter slowly chipped away at Damian's grumpy exterior. They ran around, pretending to fight off imaginary villains, and for the first time, Damian felt a warmth spreading in his chest.

"Look out, Damian!" Jon shouted. "I've got your back!"

Damien couldn't help but smile, a small, shy smile that he quickly tried to hide. He felt a strange sense of security, something he had never experienced before.

"Thanks," he mumbled, glancing at Jon, who was now attempting to imitate a superhero pose, arms crossed and chin up.

"Anytime!" Jon replied, his excitement infectious. "We make a great team!"

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the park, Damien realized that maybe, just maybe, he could get used to this. He looked at Jon, who was still beaming, and felt a sense of belonging he had never known.

"Let's do this again," Damian said, surprising even himself.

"Absolutely!" Jon exclaimed, he hugged damian who immediately turned red "youre so cute Dami!"

and since then they made those kind of meeting a regular occurence
