*Universe 3 (unreal)

(Gilded lily-Cults)

There was an unsettling feeling to the surrounding. The loud pitter patter of the rain caused him to toss and turn, gripping onto the the white sheets of the bed beneath him. Tears rolled out his closed eyes, tightly closed eyes. The familiar dream, he has been having for a long time.

He sat opposite a girl, the girl he learnt to love through the original owner of the life he dreamt of. Her body laid lifeless, the ice slowly encapsulating. This wasn't what he wanted, this wasn't how he wanted to finally spend sometime with her.

The hospital was abandoned, nothing worked. He sat there looking at her, watching her life slowly disappear. Her eyes were looking at his, holding pain and despair. He wanted to help her, anyway he could, but doing so only meant his death. Tears streaked down his face.

"I'm sorry". He said. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry...". His voice had reduced to a whisper, the tears dropping to the bed.
"It's okay...I'm here aren't i?". The girl mustered a small smile, pain in her frozen heart.

"You shouldn't have resonated with me!". He shouted. Emotions engulfed him. He took the girls cold hands and kissed it.
"You shouldn't have,". The girl looked at him trembling.

"Am I really going to die?...". Tears welled in her eyes. "I don't want to die...Zayne...!". She said. His eyes darted to hers upon hearing the name, that was his name, but in her eyes it wasn't him she called.

"Zayne please, I don't want to...". Zayne immediately placed his hand on her chest trying to remove the ice. Small sparkles of light and snow began to appear, he looked at them trying to bat them away.

"Wait...please, let me save you!". He was in dilemma, batting away the sparkles as he tried to remove the ice, his body freezing up in the process.

The girl looked at him once more and placed her hand on his chest. There is a golden glow against Zayne's chest. The ice disappeared, but her heart could only withstand so much.

"I'm here, I'm not going anywhere...Zay-". Her body freezes and slowly fades away in snow and dust.

Zayne watched in horror, hugging her immediately as her body slowly faded into nothingness. He cried, his heart filled with agony, he lost her, again.

Eyelids tore open, exposing beautiful hazel green eyes. It was raining outside, the time past 11. Zayne massaged his forehead, removing the hair that covered it before sitting up. He looked around, half eaten chocolate bar and a cup of coffee sat on the nightstand. A book and placed beside him, he slept off while reading it.

He takes the book in hand and begins reading it again. It wasn't a big book. "Poems for the solitary heart". A book of poems that had worn out.

*knock knock*

Zayne's attention moves to the white door. The knock is all to familiar to him. The door handle turns and it opens, revealing, the girl that disappeared in the his dreams. Sia walked in slowly, a small smile on her face, wearing a big shirt and a pair of shorts.

"Hey...". She greeted. Immediately noticing Zayne's face, she stops in her steps and looks at him carefully. "You look pale".

Zayne blinked twice and rubbed his eye, giving the girl a small smile. "You're back...how was the mission?". He asks. Sia raised her eye brows and quickly walked up to him. "Are you okay?". She asked.

Zayne looked away, his eyebrows almost touched. He wasn't fine but he didn't want her to worry. She already had alot and it would cause her weak heart to act up.
