A/ N: Sorry for the delay.. life happened, and had to move out of my home for the first time for postgrad, so didn't get much time or energy to update. Now that I am somewhat settled there, updates should be a bit more frequent, but no promises.

Anyway now moving on to the story...

_______________________________________________________________________________

After a really emotional impromptu family reunion and dinner to which he was practically dragged into, because "itne din baad mil rahe hai, ek diner to sath me banta hi hai", Shubman finally managed to bid everyone goodnight, and headed straight to his room and all but flopped face first onto the double bed. If there was one thing he liked about this constant traveling, it's the fact that the beds and pillows were soft and comforting, much unlike the world around him.

Yashasvi came into their shared room, feeling all tired and wrung out from their extra hard practice before the second test started tomorrow. He wanted to do nothing but grumble about his aching body to Shubi bhaiya, who'd quietly let him grumble out his frustrations, and hopefully even give a nice massage to his aching muscles.

He sat down right beside where his bhaiya had flopped down on the bed and began poking him to wake him up.

"Bhaiyaaa" Yash called, poking his finger repeatedly at the back of Shub's head

"Hmm?" Shubman grunted from the position he was in. Every single cell in his body felt tired, and he'd be damned if he moved from the position unless it was an actual emergency.

"Suno na.."

"Haan sun raha hu, tu bol"

"Aap na.. badhiya massage karte hai"

"Achha?"

"Aur suniye na bhaiya..."

"Haan?"

"Kal se to match hai.."

"Haan pata hai.."

"Aur agar apki badhiya sa ek massage mil jaye na, to baat hi ban jaye.."

"Kyu mere massage karne se tera do extra hath nikal jayenge?"

"Kyaa bhai.. itna gussa kyu kar rahe hai aap.."

"...gussa nahi kar raha hu"

"To fir kya ho gaya bhaiya.. itne chirchire kyu hai...?"

"Chirchira nahi hu yaar.. bas bohot zyada thak gaya hu..aur sar bhi dard ho raha hai.."

"Ooh.. mai daba du apka sar? Fir aap mujhe daba dena.."

"..Haan thik hai"

Rohit Sharma was a man on a mission, and that was to ensure everyone on the team was asleep on time. He didn't want any sleep deprived specimens on his team on the very first day of the match.
