Some talk of fate,
Of a dance of destiny
Between two hearts.
They call them soulmates.
I'd been broken down,
Distraught and angry,
Left jaded by past loves
And the false promises spoken.
My faith in love wavered,
Was all but shattered.
Until my soul found yours,
As if predestined by the stars above.
It was then that I learned,
Of that invisible string
That tied us together
And my world overturned.
You've restored in me that
Which others had destroyed.
And for that I am thankful,
Your love is my source of joy.
So take my hand,
Listen to it sing
Of the love I have found in you,
Tied to me by that invisible string.
