(TW: blood, gore, death.)

(OJs perspective)

OJ sat on his bed, looking out the window. The morning sun shone through the window, bathing the room in a warm orange light. It had been 8 days since MePhone, MePad, and Taco, oddly disappeared. No one seemed to be talking about it, so he thought maybe it wasn't that big of a deal. But he still knew something was odd.

"Sigh... when is that idiot gonna come back..."

He sighed again and put his face in his hand. He heard a knock on the door and looked up. The door opened and Paper entered.

"OJ? You seem... stressed."

Paper looked concerned.

"I'm just a bit tired, and MePhone isn't answering any of my calls! I'm worried because someone could die, and if MePhone isn't here, he can't recover them!"

Paper nodded, then he tried to change the subject.

"Well, don't stay here worrying! Come on, let's get up, and do something to take your mind off it!"

Paper grabbed his hand, and pulled him up, off the bed. They left the room, and went downstairs. Not many people were downstairs yet, and only Soap, Pickle, Paintbrush, and Test Tube. He let go of Papers hand, walked over to the kitchen, and begun making himself breakfast. He heard someone coming down the stairs.

"Trophy! You nearly pushed me down the stairs- ACHOO!!!"

OJ winced as he heard the Tissues tumbling down the stairs, then Trophy falling down seconds later, landing on top of Tissues. Test Tube stifled a laugh as Trophy got up, and he glared at her. He heard the unmistakable voices of Salt and Pepper, as the walked down the stairs.

"CAREFUL SALT! There's Tissues DISGUSTING SNOT on the step below you!"

Tissues got up and shot a glare at Pepper as she got to the bottom of the stairs. Soap heard the word "snot" and ran over to the stairs, grabbing some cleaning products of the table. She ran up the stairs, and begun furiously scrubbing the snot off. OJ smiled as he saw this chaotic scene unfold. He finished his breakfast and put the dishes next to the sink, before he felt a tap on his glassy back. It was Paper.

"OJ? I'm pretty sure you said you were going to clear up those branches from the tree we cut down. You should get started now, I'll help."

OJ remembered saying yesterday that he would clear up the branches, and he nodded.

"Alright. I'll go and do that now."

He left the hotel, and walked across the wet grass, towards the woodchipper. The wood chippers plastic cover had been removed, due to it breaking yesterday. He turned on the woodchipper, and grabbed some of the branches that he needed to destroy. He shoved one of them in the machine, and it was slowly and satisfyingly broken, and small wood chips came out the bottom of the machine. He heard someone walking towards him, and he turned around. It was Cherries.

"Hi!! Can we help?"

OJ was hesitant, but after a few seconds he nodded.

"Alright. Can you do it for a few minutes while I get the branches from over there?"

He pointed to the large pile of branches a few meters away, next to where the tree was originally cut down.

"Sure!"

OJ walked over to the pile of logs, and he picked up a few. Behind him, the Cherries had gotten onto the machine, standing on the rim. If they fell, they'd go in. OJ turned around and gasped.

"HEY! CAREFUL!"

They flinched, and lost their balance.

One of them fell in.

Blood splattered out the top and bottom, and screams echoed as one of the Cherries was pulverized and broken up by the woodchipper. The machine was making crunching sounds as bones were broken. The cherry that hadn't fallen in was trying to pull the other one out, but their hands were blended and broken, adding to the gore. OJ raced over, and pulled the cherry frantically trying to get the other one out, away. The stem connecting them broke easily, and it was devoured by the machine. The living cherry quivered and shook as their other half was destroyed. OJ picked them up and ran back to the hotel, blood staining both of them. OJ kicked the door open and ran inside.

"SOMEONE! HELP! DO SOMETHING!"

The others gasped at the sight. Paper frantically grabbed the first aid kit, and pulled the bandages out, before running over to OJ and the cherry. Paper began wrapping the bandages around the cherries hands, and the blood stained his own.

"What do we do?! The nearest hospital is a two day drive away!"

OJ panicked, there was no point even trying to drive there. The cherry would have to stay here until they healed.

"They're gonna have to stay here. We won't get there in time if we try."

Paper looked unsure, but agreed.

"Alright, but where will they stay?"

"They can stay in my room while they heal. It's clean."

Soap said, walking over to OJ, Paper, and the cherry. OJ was hesitant, but slowly nodded. Paper nodded as well. OJ carefully put the cherry in Soaps arms, and she raced upstairs to her room. OJ looked at himself. Blood adorned his arms, face, and "chest". He felt queasy, and glanced at Paper. Paper had blood soaked through his paper arms and face, and OJ knew that it would stain. He tried to remember what they would do to get stains out of him in the past, and remembered with sadness. If Paper was stained, the easiest option was recovery. Which they couldn't do. Paper seemed to realise this as well, and sighed.

"OJ.... what are we going to do about these stains? I can't stay like this...."

OJ put his face in his hands, and quickly retracted after realising he was getting more blood on himself.

"Just.... honestly I don't have any ideas. I need to clean myself up, so I trust you can find a way to get rid of this..."

He gestured at the bloodstains.

"...mess."

Paper sighed.

"Alright OJ.... you better go get yourself cleaned up I guess..."

OJ immediately felt bad, but went upstairs to his room. He tried to clean himself with some towels, but he knew he needed a shower. He walked over to his shower, and turned it on.

One key detail of the incident escaped him.

He hadn't realised one thing.

A bit of blood got inside his juice.

(Hello! This is my first time writing something like this, so I apologize for any mistakes, or any out-of-character moments. I worked pretty hard on this, and I hope to make more chapters frequently.
