As Lisa entered the kitchen, she found Jennie humming softly, cooking breakfast while an old tune played in the background. It wasn't just any music... something about it felt familiar, distant yet intimate, like a piece of a forgotten memory. Jennie's back was to facing her, and for a moment, Lisa blinked as a sense of déjà vu washed over her. It was as if she was watching Ruby Jane again, cooking and swaying to those very same old songs from long ago in the past.

"Wine this early?" Lisa quirked an eyebrow as Jennie poured herself a glass.
"Why not? We don't have classes today." Jennie winked, reminding her it was the weekend.
"No more headaches or anything?" Lisa asked cautiously, the concern from the day before still gnawing at her. Jennie's sudden headache, the appearance of her angelic wings, and those blood-red eyes still haunted Lisa's thoughts.
Jennie chuckled, shaking her head. "Nope, I feel fine now. You really worry too much." Lisa sighs, though still wary. Jennie was half-vampire, which made her unique. But still, it was unsettling to see her show symptoms no full vampire should ever experience.
