Taehyung POV
"Y/N, we need to go to a party tomorrow evening." I told her over breakfast the next day.
"What kind of a party? Birthday party?" I chuckled as she asked this with her mouth full of food.
"A mafia party." She choked on her food, I passed a glass of water towards her and she drank it with her eyes still wide.
"A mafia party? What do you mean, are there going to be guns and something?"
"No, idiot. It's just like a normal party with mafias. A mafia from Italy, one of my close friends, is hosting it for his success." She glared at me.
"You are an idiot. How can a party be normal if it has mafias." She continued eating. "Wait-what?! Tomorrow? What the freaking hell am I gonna wear?" She almost stopped eating her food.
"I need to go shopping." She said and I stood up and took my coat off the chair.
"No, no. We need to go shopping, do you know what you're supposed to wear to a mafia party?"
"Right, and not to mention, I'm broke." She mumbled. I stared at her.
"No, you're not, here's my credit card." I took my card out of my pocket and handed it to her. She wouldn't take it.
"What?" She looked at me.
"Take it. You're not broke as long as I'm not broke." She stared at me hard.
"Are you sure about this?" She asked. "I mean, I would never hand myself a credit card with billions in it." I chuckled. What's the worst she can buy? Kohinoor? Well, not to brag, but I can afford that too.
"No. Keep it with you. I'll tell you if I need something." Saying this she went to her room to change. I was startled. I was wrong.
A Day Before the Marriage
"What do you mean, Taehyung?" Jimin asked, leaning on the door of Taehyung's office.
"I mean she's a gold digger. Like her father." Taehyung sat down on his chair. "Why else would someone marry off their only daughter to a mafia? It's clear both of them are just craving money."
"You haven't even freaking met her yet, bro." Jimin sighed. "Well, I have an idea." Taehyung looked up.
"After the wedding, you give her your credit card. That way, you'll know whether she's a gold digger or not."
"You want me to test her?" Jimin nodded at Taehyung. "Fine, but I'll bet anything I'll be getting notifications all day long about money transactions."
"Alright, we'll see."
Well, I guess I lost that bet. She isn't a gold digger.
Y/N POV
I came out wearing my outfit to go to the mall. (CHOOSE)
"How do I look?" I asked Taehyung. "Fine." He said. "Now let's go." I sighed and went to wear my shoes. We got out and went to the basement.
"Where are we going?" I asked him as he started driving.
"To the mall." He said.
"Mall, of course. I mean which store?"
"You'll see." When we reached, he pressed the fourth-floor button in the lift, and gosh! It was full of expensive brands, all of them! I'd never imagined I'd be shopping like this in any life.
"Good morning sir, good morning ma'am." A girl greeted us as we walked into a store. I greeted her back.
"To the VIP area, please." Taehyung told her and she took us there.
"I thought this floor was the VIP area." I murmured to him and he chuckled.
The VIP area was full of so many dresses. I'll leave the part of describing them 'cause it's impossible.
"Good morning Mr. Kim." A lady in her forties came towards us. "Who's this beautiful lady with you today?" She looked at me. I smiled at her.
"My wife, Y/N." It seemed weird to be called somebody's wife.
"Oh my! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kim. I never knew you got married. Still in the honeymoon phase, huh?" I blushed and thanked her. She straightened up.
"Well, I'll not waste any of your time. For who and what occasion?" She looked at both of us.
