Lost In Tomorrow

Chapter 1: The First Step

Alph sat on the edge of the lunch table, flickering his eyes simultaneously switching his vision from the Fiji pamphlet to his phone. 

"We guys should go for this vacation trip to Fiji islands" Damian said.

Damian Cross is an extremely bright student, who is focused and excellent at both sports and academics, and he is the student council president of his college.

"But shouldn't we go to Hawaii Islands instead" Felix muttered,

"No of course not, Fiji Islands are way more adventurous." Leo countered, flipping through the pages of the survival guide.

"I think we should stick with Fiji Islands," Damian replied. "We'll leave in a week or so when the Summer Break starts," Alph said.

"I think we should ask others, whether they'll come or not."

"Yeah, I think that's a great idea, we'll get bored if there is no one with us"

"Alright, I'll ask other members of the council"

Several Days Later,

"Damn, finally we can go to Fiji Islands," Leo said enthusiastically.

"Yeah-yeah whatever, I wanted to go to Hawaii," Felix replied grumpily.

"Well, we can cancel your tickets, if you don't wanna come," Alph teased with a grin on his face.

"Shut up, we gotta go in the student council room, Damian must be waiting for us" Felix snapped.

When Felix and the other two entered the room, Damian and the others sat on their respective chairs.

"So, the members sitting in this room are the ones who are coming with us on the trip to Hawaii"

"We will be leaving tomorrow at 10 am. I have written every essential thing that we gotta carry while we are on this trip," Damian told this while providing a slip of essential things required. "Each one of you will carry one of these items,"

"I can't wait for tomorrow!" Ryder replied.

Ryder Kane is a 16-year-old boy, he is one of the youngest members of the council, He is always in trouble. He has a good friendship with Leo Hart.

"Me too Ryder!!" Leo replied enthusiastically.

"Will you ever stop acting like a kid, Leo" Felix replied mockingly.

"Alright, the meeting's over. Everyone go home, pack your stuff, and make sure to bring your assigned item. We'll meet at the airport tomorrow," Damian concluded.

Everyone went their way to their respective houses. Everyone was buzzing with anticipation, packing their bags and double-checking their essentials. Leo couldn't stop grinning as he threw his clothes into a suitcase, imagining the adventures ahead.

The Next Day,

The next day, the group gathered early at the airport, the excitement from the night before still palpable. Leo was the first to arrive, bouncing on his feet as he waved to the others. Ryder showed up next, nervously clutching his backpack while trying to appear calm. 

Felix strolled in last, sunglasses on, trying to mask his growing enthusiasm as he muttered, "Let's just get this over with."

Despite their different moods, the air buzzed with the promise of adventure as they prepared to board their flight to the Fiji Islands.

"Is everyone here? Where's Ryder?" Damian asked, scanning the group.

"No idea, he was here just a minute ago. Oh- there is he" Felix replied.
