Reconnected

We are at the airport eating before we leave. We are still waiting for two of my employees. Hotel security taught Lisa picking the lock. She immediately called me and I went to meet her in the hallway to explain. They told us since the room was under my name.  I should ask for a key card. They told us never to do that again. Lisa told me I owe her big time. I told her I would settle up with her later. Everyone else thought it was funny.  She texted the two employees not happy.

" Babe, your cellphone is ringing.  It's Julianne. Answer, please. I am on my iPad."

I answered it and told me they had received the funds already and asked me to thank my wife.  She asked me how I was doing. I told her I felt bad for not speaking up sooner. She told me it was alright. Us four not including Christopher or Rebecca enjoyed ourselves. I agreed with  her. She told me that Rebecca got the lawyer job in San Francisco. They are at the airport and will go look for a house to buy. She asked me if I had any plastic surgeon openings in my clinic in San Francisco. I told her yes. She asked me if she could fill it as a plastic surgeon.  I told her yes. She would be doing me a favor. This means I would not have to have patients come to Sacramento or me drive there. We agreed on a salary. She said to give her a month to move to San Francisco. She still needs to give her two weeks' notice at the hospital.  She mentioned she did check local hospitals, but they had no openings. I told her to tell Rebecca congratulations from us both. We ended the call . 

" Babe, sorry,  I was responding to work emails. What did Julianna want? She tried calling me, but I had my cellphone off. I need to charge it but will do it in the helicopter, not here.  Rebecca got the lawyer position in San Francisco. They landed in San Francisco. They are on their way to look for a home. She will be working for me at my clinic there in a month. I will still have me go there or the patient to come here. "  " I am so glad that position is going to be filled. I don't like you working longer hours and having to commute. I am happy for them both. "  " She also said thank you for the funds."

We finished eating and the last two employees arrive. We go through security and make our way to the hangar. Elizabeth sais she wants to fly us for several hours. We are loading everything up. The gas tank was filled up already. I am checking my pre inspection, especially since it wasn't at my home.

"Lisa we are sorry you got handcuffed.  We weren't expecting to leave today. We went to have lunch besides the hotel and do some shopping."
" I apologize for my mood. I was just pissed." 

Cindy was in the helicopter, and Elizabeth got permission to take off.  We are now up in the air.
