The heavy door of the basement chamber open, casting a silver of light into the dark space. A tall, lean, and muscular figure steps inside, a chilling grin stretched across his face. He moves further into the chamber, his footsteps echoing in the stillness.

He switches on the light, casting a harsh stare on the dark surroundings. There, in the corner, he spots her, her ankle shackled with hefty chain, a visual that brings him twisted satisfaction.

He walks towards her and crouches down in front of her, his predatory gaze roaming over her trembling form. He takes his time, savoring the power he now holds over her. Finally, he speaks, his voice sickly sweet "Well, well, well. Look what we've got here. Trapped like a helpless little animal. I must say, it suits you."

"I've got some exciting news to share," he declares with a chilling smile. He brandishes the wedding card in front of her, the colors vibrant against the bleak backdrop "Care to guess what it's about?"

A shiver runs down her spine as she stares at the wedding card, the colors searing into mind. She knows that whatever news he has for her can't be something good for her.

"It's a wedding card, my jellybean. A celebration of love and commitment. And I'm the lucky groom, about to embark on a new adventure with my soon-to-be-wife. Won't you congratulate me?" His voice filled with dark amusement as he awaits her response.

His words resonate through her mind like sickening echo, the wedding card a reminder of the life she had once dreamt of at least when she wasn't aware of his true colors. But now, she's stuck in this basement, a captive of a man who revels in her suffering. She struggled to find word, her voice trembling as she replies, "Why are you telling me this?"

He lets out a sinister chuckle, clearly enjoying her discomfort "Oh, my jellybean" he says mockingly "Why wouldn't I share my happy news with you? After all, you were my first love. Who better to celebrate this joyous occasion with?"

As she hears his words, a sense of empathy wells up within her for his future spouse. She knows the darkness and madness that lurks beneath his facade. The thought of an innocent person being trapped in a relationship with this unpredictable and potentially deadly man is both horrifying and saddening.

As the weight of her emotions sinks in, she forces herself to find words. "Congratulations," she whispers, her voice barely audible, laced with a mix of resignation and hint of fear.

He reluctant acknowledgment only fuels his twisted satisfaction. He leans closer, a wicked glint in his eye "Ah, such a polite and obedient ex-lover. How delightful," he coos sarcastically, taunting her with his words.
