He giggles as he chases after the chicken through the flower patch with his brother watching him with the other chickens and animals. He pouted when he tripped, but that didn't stop him from getting up and chasing after the chicken again. He doesn't know why, but the chickens always follow him all over, even when he visits the village, they are always with him.
His papa and dad didn't know what to do with the amount of chickens, but they only agreed to let him play with the chickens as long as his big brother was with him. Which is fine, but he still doesn't understand why there is always a group of chickens waiting for him from the forest. He couldn't even take one home, his dad won't let him.
Something about it not being safe for his feathery friends, he doesn't understand and even pouted, but his dad's words are final and therefore he had to listen. His dad can be scary, even his papa was scared sometimes. He finds the idea of his papa being scared of his dad funny, his dad is short and his papa is tall and yet his papa is scared of his short dad.
Hopefully, he doesn't end up shorter than his brother– now that would be unfair!
However, he stopped playing with the chickens when he noticed something sparkly in the forest. Ever the most curious and love sparkly things, he went after it, ignoring his brother calling out to him. He'll be fine, he got his chickens and they always make sure he's safe and never alone!
Looking around for the sparkly thing he saw, he wandered through the forest with the chickens following closely behind him. Until he found a really pretty area, he gazed at the area with such astonishment, he never expected to find a pretty area like this! There's even a lake and a whole area of flowers! He should bring some flowers back, it does seem pretty after all.
Ever so excited, he rushed over to the flowers and admired them, gently picking some flowers to make flower crowns that his brother had taught him to make some time ago. He wasn't really good at making flower crowns, but he always does enjoy making it since it always makes his family smile. He loves his family smiling, that's why he always makes one when he gets the chance to do so.
Although– he stopped when he heard the sound of sticks breaking and the grass being crushed, he turned around thinking it was just the local forest animal coming to visit him–
Only to freeze at the sight of a stranger. A stranger wearing a white coat, dressed in black and a single, uncovered rainbow color eye.
"What are you doing here alone, Child?" The stranger questioned, Sabre simply stayed silent, unsure of what to say or do. His parents always told him to never talk to anyone, but those from the Orange Villages or the trusted friends that his papa trusts. He looks at the chickens that accompany him– they always fluff their wings and stand guard if they see threats.
Yet, here they are, unbothered by the stranger's presence. Did that mean they're trusted? He wasn't sure, but if the chickens think he's not a threat, then maybe he should trust them.
"Who are you?" He asked, the stranger simply just chuckled as they walked over. "I'm not all that important, but I'll ask again, what are you doing here alone?" They asked again, Sabre just pouted as they crossed their arms. "Because I wanna." The stranger hums as they kneel before him, which makes him confused.
What were they doing?
His question was answered when the stranger picked up some flowers. "Here, let me show you how to make flower crowns with these flowers, okay?" The stranger offered, Sabre hums, unsure if he should really trust them or not, but his chicken didn't do anything so he nodded a little. Let the stranger pick some flowers and carefully weave them into flower crowns. Being sure to show them how to do so and even occasionally helping when needed.
