Wherever i go i feel her one wrong move, i feel her getting away
It was as though her presence wrapped itself around me, guiding my every step. But there was always this tension—a fragile thread connecting us, and with one wrong move, I felt her slipping further away. Each time I hesitated or turned in the wrong direction, the bond between us seemed to fray, like an invisible string loosening, threatening to break.
I couldn't afford that. I had to find her.
Nyxalith and I set off, following that delicate pull—the invisible string that tied our souls together. I let the sensation guide me, trusting in it to lead me to her. Every time the bond weakened, I adjusted, turning sharply in another direction, desperate not to lose the connection. It was maddening at times, the uncertainty of each step, as if the path to her was shifting beneath me, testing my resolve.
At one point, Nyxalith grew restless, his enormous wings beating the air harder, his scales rippling with frustration. He roared in protest, his powerful body twisting mid-flight as if to throw me off. I barely managed to hold on, my fingers gripping the reins tightly as the wind rushed around us.
"Easy, boy!" I whispered, trying to calm him, though I knew he was frustrated with my constant indecision.
Then, suddenly, I felt it—a strong, undeniable tug. It was as though my entire being was being pulled downward by an unseen force. The connection was so powerful that it left no room for doubt. Without hesitation, I urged Nyxalith to descend, my heart racing with anticipation.
As we broke through the clouds, a quaint, charming little cottage came into view, nestled quietly at the edge of a forest. The sight of it sent a jolt through me, a recognition so deep and instinctive that I knew, without a doubt, this place belonged to her. My soulmate. The pull between us was strongest here, and the invisible string that had guided me so far now felt like a tangible force, leading me straight to the front door.
This was where I would find her.
The moment I saw the house, it was like stepping into a dream I had been chasing all my life. Nestled among the thick trees, the cottage seemed to almost grow out of the earth itself, as though it had been crafted by nature's hand. Its soft, pastel walls were touched by the sun, and the light seemed to make the entire structure glow with a warm, inviting aura. It was the kind of place that felt timeless, like it had existed long before I arrived and would continue to thrive long after.
I could imagine her there, sitting on the wooden swing that hung from the porch, gently rocking back and forth as she read a worn, leather-bound book. The swing moved softly in the breeze, and I could almost hear its gentle creek, blending with the rustling of the leaves above. The porch was adorned with potted plants, cascading vines spilling over the edges, framing the doorway in vibrant green. A small table sat to the side, delicate teacups still in place, as if she had only just been there.
The house itself was a masterpiece of subtle beauty. Its walls were painted in light tones of lavender and cream, a palette that blended perfectly with the surroundings. The roof, made of weathered slate tiles, sloped gracefully, and small windows peered out from beneath the eaves, their glass panes catching the sunlight like sparkling gems. The shutters were painted a soft sky blue, giving the cottage a whimsical charm, almost as if it had been plucked from the pages of a fairy tale.
The flowers that surrounded the house were in full bloom, wild and untamed, yet somehow arranged with perfect harmony. Elysian Orchids climbed up the walls, their pale pink petals glowing faintly in the dimming light, while Veilshade Lilies formed a protective ring around the base of the house, their deep purple blossoms almost shimmering in the shadowy corners of the garden. The air was thick with the scent of magic, sweet and intoxicating, a fragrance that spoke of ancient spells woven into the very soil.
