You seem to be staying longer than you promised. We go through these talks every day. Most days, it feels like you win, and all I can do it watch. What happened to the days you wouldn't come around? One person can only prepare so much.
Your words slither themselves into my head and create a nest. Only to come out to find more resources. It looks like you've made yourself at home. So, why do I feel like a stranger? You've taken what I built up in years down in seconds. What makes you so powerful? At times, I fight for dominance in my own mind, but never succeed.
On some days, you feel like a warm embrace. As the day goes on, that embrace tightens. I gasp for air, and you laugh. You've tricked me so many times, every time I hoped you leave. That's not going to be easy. You loiter in my mind way too long. What can I do for you to leave? Why are you attached, and why can't I escape you?
