Baseball field, 2:35 pm
After Finney got ready, he met Bruce at the baseball field to practice before the game started. The big game didn't actually start until 3, but they have to practice before the game starts to get ready. Bruce was with his team in his dugout on the other side of the field talking to his teammates, while Finney was practicing his pitching.
Robin, Billy, Vance, Gwen, and Griffin arrived a few minutes after Finney and Bruce. Finney took a break from his pitching and he went to get a drink of water. He went up to his friends after drinking his water.
Finney walked up to the bleachers.
Finney: hi guys
He said
Everyone said hi to him and Robin walked up to him and kissed his cheek. He put his arm around Finney's waist and stood next to him.
Robin: hi, mi vida
Finney looked at Robin smiling at him and turning a light pink.
Finney: hi, my love
Griffin groaned.
Griffin: ugh, stop flirting, we get it, you're in love
Gwen: literally
Gwen rolled her eyes.
Finney scoffed and flipped both of them off. Then, he said bye to them and kissed Robin and went back to his dugout.

Baseball field, 3:03 pm
Finney's team started out in the field and Bruce's team was hitting. Finney was obviously pitching because he was the main (and best) pitcher.
Bruce stepped up to bat first, he was always first for some reason. Finney just believed he bribed his coach so he could go first every time to get a home run every time.
Finney stepped up to the mound and got into position. He threw the ball right to the catcher, but Bruce swung and hit it over the fence.
The crowd mostly cheered for Bruce since he got a home run, he ran the bases and saluted to Finney. Finney rolled his eyes, nevertheless, he smiled.
Bruce ran up to Finney after the inning and started bragging about his home run. Finney wasn't even paying attention though.
Bruce: Finney? FINNEY????
Bruce yelled in Finney's face.
Finney turned to face him with his eyebrows raised.
Finney: what?
Bruce scoffed and crossed his arms.
Bruce: are you even listening to me?
Finney: no, I'm not gonna listen to you brag about your home run
Bruce rolled his eyes and they both went to the bleachers to see their friends.
Bruce went up to Vance and Vance hugged him tightly, congratulated him for his home run. Robin kissed Finney and gave him some confidence that he would kick Bruce's ass in this game today.
Finney: Chill out, Bruce, I could still kick your ass
Finney said, side eyeing Bruce.
Bruce turned to look at Finney.
Bruce: yeah, sure you will
Billy, Griffin and Gwen groaned.
Gwen: will you all shut up? We all know my brother's gonna win anyway
Gwen sassed.
Finney smirked and Bruce and Bruce told Gwen to shut up. Finney heard the coaches tell them to get back to the field, so they both said bye to their friends and went back down to the field.

It was the 9th inning.
Bruce's last hit.
Finney's last pitch.
Finney and Bruce's teams were tied.
If Bruce hit this, he would obviously get a home run and win, but if Finney struck him out, he would win.
