Douglas McDoober had just gotten divorced. He had been married for 5 years and his wife had enough.

He held his head against his office table.

Why did she leave him? Sexual assault.

And don't get me wrong, this guy is a totally bad dude. He was known for drug abuse in the past, and had been involved in a series of criminal drug rings in his hometown.

So now, he's thinking he needs a new, fresh, start.

And the best way to do that?

Join a band.

...

So, the story REALLY starts when Douglas McDoober shows up for a band practice in this Kurt guy's basement, right. And he tries out for the lead singer role.

Let's just say they didn't let him in.

"Alright Doug-" The blonde dude took the microphone from Doug's grasp and sets it in a separate corner of the room.

Doug frowns. "So am I in, Dirt?"

"It's Kurt."

Doug laughs.

"And no."

Doug frowns

Now THIS is where it starts to heat up.

I guess you could call it the villain arc.

"And why? Was I not good enough?" Douglas McDoober asks.

Kurt shoos him out of the basement. "Doug. You're not in, I'm sorry."

Doug get sad.

"Oh yeah- well I see red when IM ANGEY!" He clenches his fists and glares at Kunt.

Kurt grabbed the broom.

"GET OUT STUPID FUCK!"

So Douglas McDoober left.

His wife had just divorced him, and he's being threatened to quit his well-paying office job.

If he couldn't find another job, it was over.

And what better way to GET his way?

Become the enemy's competition.
