It's been a few months since I last talked to Jaliyah. The last time I saw her was when she came to my place. Nothing happened, we just talked, and she really set some boundaries. Of course, I wasn't cool with it, but what can I do?

Usually, I say, "fuck those boundaries," and do what I do. But this time, I gave her the space she wanted and needed. I still interacted with her on IG. Anytime she posted, I liked and commented. She would do the same for my posts as well, but that was the only communication we've had. If you'd even call that communication.

Right now, I'm in Turks, in the studio working. I'm definitely in album mode, plus still dealing with bullshit with this so-called rap beef.

"Noel, play that one shit," I said, sitting back after lighting a blunt. I listened, trying to come up with some shit in my head for the second verse.

"Man, this one is gonna be one of them ones. I can tell, already," Kahlil said, taking his headphones off, nodding his head to the beat he made.

I looked at him and nodded. "Definitely," I brought the blunt up to my lips, closing my eyes.

"Aight, let me get this shit down, and then I'm headed out," I said as I stood up. I looked at my phone and saw a notification from IG saying that Jaliyah was live. The beat was still playing as I walked into the booth. I went on her live, curious to see what she was up to.

"Noel, I'll tell you when to start from the second verse," I glanced up at him to see him nod. Kahlil had put his headphones back on and went back to work. I thought maybe he'd be watching her live too.

I'm glad I went on her live on my finsta because I'm sure Crystal's ass would've said something if I didn't. Jaliyah knows my finsta, but I don't think she saw that I was in there.

"Okay, shot number five," Crystal said as they all took shots.

"Girl, it's your shot number five. This is our first one," Jaliyah corrected her. The phone was propped up so that all three of them could be seen. I could tell that Jaliyah was sitting next to someone, but I couldn't tell who.

After they took their shot, an arm reached around and wrapped around Jaliyah's shoulder. Definitely a dude. She leaned into him and smiled before telling Crystal to turn her live off.

Once the live went off, I put my headphones on. "Aight, Noel, start it."

I did my second verse a few times until it was perfect. I walked out of the booth and lit my blunt again before sitting down. Noel continued working on the song as I sat back, in my zone.

"Aye, bro. I was thinking about asking Jaliyah if she wanted to come out here for a couple of days. Would that be okay?" Kahlil asked.

"Nigga, that's your girl. You don't have to ask me," I mumbled.
