As you began to walk up the front porch steps, your breath suddenly hitched in your throat and your heart started to pound anxiously.

Wooyoung stopped walking upon feeling your palm starting to sweat and a look of worry filled his eyes when he saw how anxious you seemed.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just very nervous." You explained. "What if they don't like me?"

"Give me one reason they might not like you." He said as he stepped closer to you and you shrugged your shoulders wordlessly.

"There doesn't have to be one particular reason. They just might hate me. They might not think we're good together or tell you that you could do better."

"That's not going to happen. My family is going to adore you. Okay? I promise. You don't need to be anxious. I'm right there with you and I know better than anyone that they're going to love you."

You took a deep breath and looked into his eyes before he brushed a lock of hair behind your ear.

Your lips parted as you went to speak but the second they did so, the front door opened.

"We heard the car doors close but you two haven't come in yet. Is everything alright?"

His mom was at the door and Wooyoung took your hand into his again as he nodded.

"Everything's fine. She's just a little nervous." He explained as you walked up the rest of the steps together.

"Oh, no." His mom spoke as you and Wooyoung stepped inside the house. "There's no need to be nervous!"

You cracked a little smile before Wooyoung let your hand go so he could hug his mom and then his dad, as he came into the room.

"Y/N, you look beautiful." His mom kindly spoke and Wooyoung placed his hand on the small of your back, gazing at you adoringly and proudly.

"Wooyoung talks about you all the time! I swear, we call him to hear about his day or how he's doing and he says two words about that before talking to us for hours about you." His dad grinned.

"He does?" You asked before looking at your boyfriend, who seemed a little shy now. "That's so sweet."

You took his hand into yours again and he squeezed it before kissing your cheek.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps and then an excited voice appeared.

"Wooyoung!"

Your boyfriend turned his head and his eyes lit up upon seeing his younger brother across the room.

He opened his arms and his brother came running over before they shared a huge hug.

The second they pulled away, you watched his brother, Kyungmin, look at you.

"This is my girlfriend, Y/N," Wooyoung proudly spoke.

"It's good to meet you." You kindly spoke and he threw his arms around you for a hug after, making you smile.

"It's good to meet you too," He said before pulling away and then tapping Wooyoung's arm, making him bend down.

You watched him whisper into his ear before Wooyoung grinned.

"Who's ready to eat? I hope you're hungry, Y/N," His mom said, to which you nodded.

"Dinner will be done in a few minutes. Come on."

Wooyoung took your hand as you followed his parents to the kitchen.

"Just so you know, my older brother was supposed to come today but he got caught up with a few things. You'll meet him next time thought." Wooyoung told you.

"Oh, that's alright." You assured him before asking his parents if they needed help with anything.

"No, it's alright. We've got it. You two go sit down. It'll be just a couple more minutes." His mom replied.

You and Wooyoung took a seat at the table before you put your head on his chest.

"Are you alright? Feeling a little more at ease?"

"Yeah. I think they like me."

"I told you they would." He said as he brushed his fingers along your back. "I knew they wouldn't hate you. You were just nervous, which is understandable. I was too when I met your family."

"It's just a big step."

"It is. But it's one most couples have to take at some point and it's worth it, right? My brother adores you and my parents just love you."

"What was your brother whispering to you?" You wondered and Wooyoung laughed.

"He said you're pretty and I should marry you someday soon."

Your cheeks warmed up a little and you gazed into his eyes as his tongue came out to brush against the corners of his lips.

"I agree with him on both of those things."

Your heart swelled and you put your lips on his to kiss him, only pulling away when his dad said,

"Would you two like something to drink? It's in the fridge."

Wooyoung kissed your cheek before getting up to go get you both something to drink.

When he went over there, his mom pulled him aside and said,

"Don't you ever let her go. She's perfect for you."

Wooyoung smiled brightly as he watched his brother come to sit across from you, both of you laughing and talking.

"She's beautiful inside and out. You found a good one." His dad said.

"I did." He agreed. "She's perfect. Don't worry, I'll never let her go. I'd never do such a thing. She's the one. I know it."

He got you both a drink before returning to sit beside you.

His parents grinned as they watched the three of you from across the room before looking at each other and saying,

"So do we."
