For about 200 hundred years, the only monsters Humanity had to worry about were the Titans. Giant naked humanoid creatures who could regenerate lost limbs and did nothing but devour any living thing. But their favourite food of all were Humans. And the fear of the Titans has forced Humanity to cower behind colossal walls made to prevent the Titans from ever breaching through.
However, in the Underground, there's been rumours of something dark skulking around. Its skin was a scaly black, it could cling onto walls and it never left any survivors. In the Underground, it became a story made to scare people into submitting. But the beast cared little for submission. All it did was kill, like a savage beast.
Even more recently, people have been found dead with giant gaping holes in their heads. Some of them were even stabbed in their chest by something large and sharp enough to make a clean cut. Worst of all, nobody knew exactly what it was, nor how to counter it. Their best bet was to hide in the shadows and pray it never found them...
Right now, a group of soldiers are in the Underground, inspecting a broken down "house" which was covered with blood. Hanging on the wall was the top half of a man, his bottom half nowhere to be seen. In the beds, there were few who were dead with giant holes in their chests that seemed to burst outwards, like something was inside them.
Soldier1: What the hell is going on?
Soldier2: We've seen killings like these a lot more often over the past month. Could just be some maniac in the Underground.
Soldier1: No. No. There's no way any normal person can just tear a person's chest out from the inside. See how the ribs protrude outwards?
He says, pointing to the bent ribs. Whatever came out forced its way out and it killed the sleeping victims in the process. The second soldier leans into the chest wound and gets a closer look, inspecting the damage and trying to figure out what happened. Before he could get a clearer understanding, a scream came from downstairs, alerting the two.
Soldier1: Let's go!
They pull out their blades and rush downstairs. But the other three men they arrived with were all gone. Nowhere to be seen. The remaining two men stand close together and keep an eye out, cautious about the situation.
Soldier2: Luis! Oran! Where did you guys go?!
Hanging above the two soldiers was a slender entity. It had no eyes, its skin mixed of fur and scale and its jaws salivated slightly with blood running down its jaws. Panicking, one of the soldiers ran out of the door and escaped. The other attempted to follow but before he could reach the door, the entity struck and grabbed hold of the man by the leg, making him fall.
Soldier2: No! Get away from me! Let me go!
The beast pulled the soldier back and opened its mouth, revealing another mouth inside. Thrusting the tiny mouth forward, it penetrated the soldier's skull, killing him in an instant. The creature snarled and looked up to see the final soldier left. The man was so terrified he had wet himself and was visibly shaken.
Soldier1: W-What the hell are you...?!
The creature lunged forward and pinned the soldier down. It raised its right hand and then dug its claws into the soldier's face, putting its fingers in his eyes and mouth to get a firm hold before twisting and ripping his head off clean. With the soldiers dead, the beast raised its head and screeched in victory.

Looking skyward, the beast notices a light coming from a hole in the roof. The creature growls lightly and makes its way up above ground.
Humanity had more threatening troubles than the Titans now. One that was far more dangerous.
