One evening, Kyung Jun and Chaemin found themselves at the beach, the sky fading into rich hues of orange and purple as the sun began to set. They had come there to escape the pressures of school and the weight of his reputation. Despite his tough exterior, she always managed to bring out the softer side of him, the part he kept hidden from the world.

They walked along the shore, their hands intertwined, the gentle waves washing over their feet. Chaemin, with her radiant smile, pulled him toward the water, playfully splashing at him. He let out a low chuckle, shaking his head but unable to resist the infectious joy she always carried. For a moment, he wasn’t the angry boy everyone feared; he was just a teenage boy, enjoying a simple evening with the girl who had stolen his heart. They found a spot further up the beach to sit down, the warm sand beneath them.

She leaned her head on his shoulder, her hair catching the fading light, while they both gazed out at the endless horizon. Kyung Jun, for once, felt a sense of calm wash over him, the kind of peace that only she could give him. He slipped his arm around her, pulling her closer, feeling the steady rhythm of her breathing against him.

Chaemin pointed toward the water where a flock of birds skimmed across the surface. "Isn't it beautiful?" she whispered, her voice filled with awe. He glanced at her, the sunset casting a soft glow on her face, and nodded. "Yeah," he murmured, his eyes never leaving her. "It really is." In that moment, with the sound of the waves, the fading colors of the sky, and the warmth of her by his side, everything felt right. He wasn’t the bully, and she wasn’t just the sweetheart everyone adored—they were simply two people, sharing a perfect evening on the beach, lost in the quiet magic of being together.

The next morning, the atmosphere had not lifted. Instead, it was a strange limbo, with the same tune being played around the room when morning came.

Morning has come.

The students woke in a daze, disoriented, memories of the night before fuzzy yet sharp with emotional pain. Chaemin opened her eyes slowly, the sound of the music washing over her like a fog, only to realize she was wrapped in the arms Kyung Jun. Her body tensed as confusion and unease set in. How had she ended up in his arms? She couldn’t recall how it happened, but the warmth of his arms had felt familiar in a moment when the world had become terrifyingly foreign. His grip was loose, but protective, it gave her a nostalgic feeling. But at that moment, after what they had all been through, she didn’t pull away. Not yet. She would be lying if she said she didn't missed the warmth. As Kyung Jun slowly woke up, he found Chaemin's eyes looking straight at him. Realizing in what position they were in and that now Kyung Jun had woken up she hurriedly moved away and sat up straight.

Everyone sat there silently not knowing what to do or say. Yeon seo suddenly stood up, a look of disbelief in her eyes. Without a word she walked towards the large, beoken window. Looking down, the body Heo Yeol lay flat on the ground, blood pooling beneath him like a grosteque halo. The sight made it all too real, her eyes becoming teary at the loss of one of their classmates.

Suddenly, everyone got a notification as they hurriedly reached for their phone.

The robotic voice said, "Where is Joo Won?" asked Yeon Seo with a  trembling voice. "Who's making the announcement? Why do we keep hearing it?" said Woo Ram loudly. "The broadcasting room is at the second floor. Let's go check it." Hyun Ho said as he and some of the students went up to check the room. As the other students stayed back, the silence filled the room again.
