Ariah is woken up by the loud noise of the maze doors opening, the noise of the doors opening echoes through the empty glade. Ariah gets up, gets her clothes on, and goes to the treehouse where she sees... Nellie, cuddled up with her teddy, looking tired.
'Nellie what are you doing up so early?' Ariah asks, the worry on her face is evident. Nellie is quiet, the eye bags under her eyes are dark, like she hasn't slept in days, weeks even. 'Nells, are you ok?' Ariah asks again, even more worried. All she gets is a small mumble from Nellie. 'C'mon I'll take you to bed, you can sleep in my hut, how's that?' Ariah says, hoping she can convince Nellie to go to sleep.
'Okay..' Nellie mumbles, making Ariah smile a little. Nellie goes to Ariah's hut and goes to sleep, cuddling her teddy. Making Ariah's heart warm up, seeing her safe. She tucks Nellie in before going to the gardens.
LATER
Ariah is eating lunch with Zach and Jason, Nellie still hasn't come out of bed?
'Guys I'm going to go check on Nellie, see you in the gardens' Ariah says as she finishes her food. She gets up and walks over to her hut to go check on Nellie. She opens the door and sees Nellie isn't there? She figures Nellie has gone to lunch, so she goes sees if anyones seen her, but nobody has so she thinks Nellie has gone up to the treehouse so she goes and checks there, and like she thought, Nellie was sat there with her teddy, making a mini flower boquet with daisies she found in the glade.
'I thought you'd be up here, but you should've told me you were out of bed silly!!' Ariah says looking down at the boquet of flowers,
'Soo... who's the boquet for hm??'
'It's for luca...' Nellie says sofly, looking down at the gardens, where Luca is talking to Zach. Then luca looks up at her and she looks away. Ariah giggles. Which makes Nellie let out an embarassed groan.
'Hey Nellie!' Someone shouts, it's a farmilliar voice, it's Luca! Nellie looks down, seeing Luca waving to her, she smiles and goes down to see him, leaving her teddy and flowers.
'This child..' Ariah sighs and smiles, and she takes Nellie's teddy and boquet back to her hut.
