".oh why is this happening."𝐖alking in the forbidden woods. Blood drenched on her clothes, the wind blowing around her. Almost even saying her name "mamicara" "mamicara" in harsh whispers in the wind. She makes her way to the edge of the woods and stands there, shaking. One foot in front of the other she continues to the very edge until there was nothing left, the guilt, the sanity knowing that she murdered her entire family was nothing more than a small void in the back of her mind . In the background she could hear the villagers coming for her, ready to hang her for her sins. But it was too late when they got there, she fell to the sharp rocks at the bottom of the hill. They see her lifeless body getting washed away slowly and turns away back to the village.
The infamous mamicara, one of the towns most famous stories. Some say they can still hear her and the children in the woods until this day every Friday the 13th, how interesting is that?
Hi I'm Harper. And this is the story of how we got away from the devil it self.

𝐄ver since I was a little girl my parents would say that I had so much curiosity and that certain feeling for adventure. I mean yes i was kid of course I wanted adventure who wouldn't? I remember when we had this very old couple right next door to us and one day there cat went missing, so we organized a small neighborhood watch to find this little thing. Everyone searching in all the wrong places, wondering why they can't find the simplest thing, others got tired and retired early to bed. But me I was determined to find there cat so I did something a little bit dangerous and went into the forest also known as "forbidden". Was I going to be grounded for the rest of life most definitely, but I knew that the old couple cherished this cat more than anything.
I kept walking. Only hearing the sound of my feet crunching the leafs and branches, I called the cat's name once "mr.pebbles" nothing. Then twice "mr.pebbles, come here boy" crickets, just crickets. Finally a third time "come on mr.pebbles" still nothing, I look around my surroundings and see just utter darkness, then decided to give up. Until, the sound of crickets weren't just crickets I heard purring, I turned around and scanned the trees and then the ground for some prints. The cat started to purr again and I started to follow the sound until it became bigger and more clearer. I started to run towards that direction until I was right on top of it, it kept echoing around me, not knowing where it was coming from anymore. The purring turned into whispers, I couldn't quite make out what it was saying but it got louder and with it being louder I got more scared and hid behind a tree. I sunked to the ground and pulled my legs closer hoping that it would all stop, the whispers, the crickets, everything.
Tears threatened to pour out but I know I needed to stay calm. But I couldn't when the whispers turned into humming, I felt it right by my ear. My face paled and my eyes shot right open not daring to turn around, I felt something crawling up my back to the back of my neck, there fingers felt cold and wet. I kept thinking to myself how stupid I was for coming to these woods and that this would be my mistake from this. How did I ever think it was good idea coming into these woo— my thoughts were paused when I heard my mother calling out my name. The cold hands let go of me and I finally turned around to the bright light and kept running after it, with all my power. No matter how tired I felt I still didn't stop, still hearing my mother shouting my name I finally make it back to her. My mom was still when she saw me, my coat was ruined and my hair was a mess from all the running. She didn't waste anytime giving me a hug and whispered "that you're ok" in my ear. Those tears I forgot I held in finally got out and it went all over my mom's jacket. I clinged to my mom, afraid if I let go that thing would get me and pull me right back into the forest.
