Janelle closed her locker only to jumped when Maya was standing right there, Janelle faced Maya and Maya wore a smile on her face.
"Hey Janelle, can I call you Elle?" Janelle nodded her head, she didn't see why she couldn't.
"What are you doing after school?" Maya questioned and Janelle shrugged her shoulders.
"I'm just going to go to sleep." Janelle answered her question and Maya hooked their arms together.
"Let's do something, together." Maya stated, Janelle didn't like to go places but she didn't want to be rude.
"Oh, okay.."
"What's up Maya, Sup Janelle." Taesha walked up beside Maya and Maya smiled widened when she seen her.
"Hey Taee! You tryna hang out with me and Janelle after school?" Maya asked her and Taesha looked at Janelle before she looked back at Maya.
"Yeah, i'll hang out with y'all but girl give me back that vape. It's not mines, chile." Taesha held her hand out and Maya slammed the vape in her hand.
"Thank you, see y'all later."
Janelle watched Taesha walk off, she had said hey to other girls and dudes before she turned the corner.
"I can't stand her really but she friends with everyone so i gotta keep her as one of my best friends." Maya told Janelle and Janelle frowned her face up.

"That's stupid as fuck, don't you talk to Kd?" Maya questioned Taesha and Taesha looked at her like she was stupid.
"Hell no, i'm cool with him but never going beyond that point no more." Taesha shut that down and Maya laughed.
"Janelle, you going to Ant house with us tomorrow?" Taesha turned her attention to Janelle who was eating her oreo McFlurry.
They were sitting inside mcdonald's .
"Yeah, I was going to go there cause of Samir." Janelle answered and Taesha nodded.
"You shole do date Saint, I thought he was with Diamond for a minute." Taesha shot Maya a mug and Maya put her hands up.
"Mhm, he did tell me that he was forced to work on a project with her and Ant." Janelle spoke and Taesha shook her head.
"You don't have to reply to that, Maya just messy and she needs to stop that." Taesha leaned back in her seat.
"I'm not being messy, just telling her that her man is talking and laughing with his ex, i wouldn't trust none like that." Maya rolled her eyes and Taesha folded her arms.
"Just cause you got trust issues doesn't mean you have to make everyone else have them. Me and you both know Samir wouldn't do no shit like that." Taesha stated and Maya smacked her lips.
"Niggas change everyday, Janelle don't trust him. He loved that girl, that love doesn't go nowhere."
"Bruh you pissing me off.. Samir supposed to be your friend and you over here trying to ruin his relationship." Taesha was getting mad now and Janelle didn't know what to do.
"It's fine, i trust Samir so what she says doesn't matter. I know he wouldn't do that..." Janelle mumbled, even though she was starting to believe what Maya was saying.
Didn't help that she was overthinking their relationship this past week.
"Aaliyah said hey, Taesha." Maya told Taesha and Taesha rolled her eyes.
"Tell her I said to give me back my notes tomorrow, I need that shit back." Taesha pointed at Maya phone and Maya laughed.

Janelle sighed when she walked through the door of her house, she walked inside the kitchen where her mom was cutting some potatoes up.
"Ma what you about to cook?" Janelle questioned and her mom looked up at her.
"Roast, what you doing coming home so late?" Her mom raised an eyebrow and Janelle looked at her watch to see the time.
"I was out with Taesha and Maya, you remember Taesha right?" Janelle said and her mom nodded her head.
"Yeah I remember Taesha, she was the one of the reasons you got ISS, right?"
"Yeah..." Janelle trailed off and her mom laughed.
"I'm just playing with you, I know she's Samir friend. She's Antwone sister right? Mhmm, I seen her mom at the store yesterday." Janelle mom put the knife down and went to the sink to watch her hands.
"Right, speaking of Antwone.. can I go to his house tomorrow? They having something and Samir is going to be there." Janelle made sure to mention Samir since her mom loved him so much.
"Yeah you can go, tell Samir to come over sometime and try my food, he hasn't been coming over for a while."
"I will." Janelle turned around to walk to her room.
"Janelle, you changed. That's good, i'm glad you are going outside more." Janelle smiled at her mom and walked to her room.
She was about to go to sleep, even though her mom was cooking, she already ate a large fry and a McFlurry, she'd eat the roast tomorrow morning.
