I'm gonna do a thing at the beginning of each chapter (qotc//question of the chapter)

QOTC- What's yous favourite part of summer???

It was 10:38pm and as I cruised down the dirty streets of London, in my dirty, washed out, matte silver 1960's Mercedes convertible, when I came across a familiar place. I couldn't quite establish what it was, though. I continued to drive but that one place remained on my mind. I drove around the corner and parked up in a dark car park. It had been raining outside and was currently 8 degrees on a mid August night. I swiftly jumped out of my car and wrapped my cream coloured oversize cardigan over my shoulders and rushed towards the door of the warn out building. As I approached, I got another familiar sense rush through my body. I pushed open the heavy metal door and walked down the narrow corridor, toward a large brown wooden doorframe. The doorframe however, had no door. As I walked in, I scanned the large, circular room. There was disco lights hanging from the ceiling, a bar in the corner, with items on it, apparently at ease. I continued to look around, turning around yet another corner and seeing a pole, in the middle of something that looked like a stage. There was bar stools all around risen up stage. A little to the left was a few tables and chairs with a dusty candle on each of them. Above the pole, read a sign saying 'Quality class every nite'. The writing was made out of bulbs, meaning it was supposed to be lit up. I followed the cable with my eyes until it reached a socket at the edge of a table. I pulled the chair out and sat down, and as I did so, a massive dust cloud surrounded the area around me. I threw my hands up and flapped them about until the dust disappeared. I switched the socket on and turned around to where the sign was located and saw it perfectly lit up, not one bulb was broken. I bent down to turn off the socket when I noticed something and immediately got butterflies in the pit of my stomach. I traced my hand over the leg of the table I was sat at, dust blew and I coughed a little, moving my head away. I spun my head back around and down to the leg of the table. I traced my hand back over it, and I could see that it very faintly read,

'Fern + Cal.'

*Flashback*

"Cal, are we going to be together forever?" I slurred, sipping the final little bit I had of my drink left. Cal, my boyfriend of two years was sat opposite me, looking everywhere but at me.

"God dammit Callum, I said are we going to be together forever?" I demanded, slamming my fists onto the table, angry because Cal wasn't answering me. Fuck this, I thought and got up to go and get another drink. As soon as I managed to get one, I ran back to the table as fast as I could, slightly spilling a bit of my drink.

"Yes." Cal simply said, focused on something in the distance.

"What?" I asked, confused because of my state at what Cal had said.

"We will be together forever." He spoke and picked up a knife from on the table and started carving something into the tables wooden leg. When he had finished he told me to get up and come look at it. I sat on Cal's lap and leant down to read the table leg. It read,

'Fern + Cal.'
