I approached the boys a bit more and Cal turned around and walked back into the fast food restaurant. This was my time. I slowly walked over to the two boys stood chatting to each other, running my hand through my hair. "Hello," I smiled, "My name is Fern - Fern McAllister and I think I might know the boy that was just standing here with yous, can I ask you a question about him?" I awkwardly stood, waiting for an answer from one of the two boys, who also looked familiar. "Yeah go ahead, what was the question? I'm Joe by the way, and this is Harry." The boy with brown spiked hair answered after a few looks were exchanged from them both. "Well, your friend - is his name Cal? Callum Freezy?" I asked, biting my lip. "Yeah he is, why, do you know him?" The other boy replied. "Um yeah I do actually, I used to um date him a few years ago." I spoke. "Oh hang on, Fern, I do recognise that name! Did you go to St. Peters school?" Asked Joe. "Yes I did, don't tell me you're Joe Weller and umm, Harry.." I had to think, and then it came to me, "Lewis!" I finally remembered. "Yes oh my god, well its so nice to see you again!" Harry smiled, bringing me into a hug. I pulled away and gave Joe a hug too. "How's Cal doing, by the way?" I asked, curious to how my ex boyfriend of two years and six months was doing after our terrible break-up. "He's doing fine actually, yeah he dated a girl not long after you, we think it was just rebound sex, but he hasn't actually admitted that yet." Joe explained. "He had a girlfriend? Wow, what was her name?" I asked, actually curious and a little bit jealous considering the promise we had made, but then I guess we did break up, so it doesn't count anymore, right? "Her name was Miley." Joe replied. "Have you got a boyfriend?" Harry asked. "No, even though it was so long ago, I promised Cal, I don't go back on promises." I admitted, it was true, me and Cal had made a pact, obviously he's forgot about it. "Cal's actually got a girlfriend at the moment." Joe blurted out, earning a scowl from Harry. "Um yeah, she's called Maggie and she's really pretty and nice." Joe explained. "Is Maggie-" I started.

"What about my Maggie?" I heard a deep voice and turned my head to see Cal.

*Flashback*

"Yo Joe throw me that ball!" My boyfriend, Cal of a year and a month shouted across the school field.

"Callum, go get it yourself you lazy shit." I winked, laughing at Callum.

"Oi Fern, leave it out yeah." Cal smiled, showing me his teeth and then sticking his tongue out. I punched him in the arm and got up and ran over to where the ball was placed. I picked it up and drop kicked it as far away as I could, earning laughs from the people around us, which included Joe, Harry, Simon, Ethan, Tobi, JJ, Josh and Vikk, then Harry's girlfriend Aimee.

"Fern! That was not funny." Cal scolded. I ran over to him and gave him a massive hug.

"Sorry babe." I smiled.

"Ooh sorry babe." Harry imitated, winking at us.
