Chapter 10

Taman Ekoflora 2 (about 11.8km from Taman Pelangi Indah) - 10.00pm

A faint voice calls to him from the void. "Meel!, Meel!" It echoes ever so slightly. He opens his eyes as he saw a young woman being tied up at the corner of the wall. He tried to stood up slowly. "Rose?" he mentions her name. "Meel! Thank God you're alright." said Rose, who is struggling to move closer to check on Azmil where his hand are tied behind his back along with his feet tied. "What happened to us?" he asks Rose, where she looks at the door behind him for a moment and inquires, "What's the last thing that you remembered?" Azmil ponders to think. "The last thing I remembered is that I saw a group of men were trying to kidnap you. I tried to stop them but someone hit me in the back." he memorises back. Rose then explains, "That was two days ago. Right now we're at some kind of park. Aqif went to find us among those days just to save us, but I saw him heavily wounded and was forced to pull back." Azmil looks down once heard Rose's explaination. "Aqif..... Hope he's okay." he shuddered. Just then, the door behind Azmil opens as a lady wearing a black and yellow spandex, with some denser armor wrapped around her vital points. Her hair is light honey blonde with cobalt blue eyes and pale pink lips. "Ah, good your boyfriend is awake." said the lady. "Who are you?! What do you want with us?!" Rose questions the lady. The lady shruggs by that question. "Honestly we were going to capture only you, but your useless boyfriend came and tries to interrupt us." She then glances at Azmil, helding his chin just to look at his face. "But then again, your boyfriend may not be useless after all." she grins as she said that, which enrages Rose. "Don't you dare touch him!!" she yells at the lady. Azmil was left speechless with his face turned bright red. "Wow, I'm impressed with you. I can see the potential bond between you two." the lady teases.

Suddenly, the door slammed hard as if the person that opened it is in hurry. "Lady Bourgeois! We have a problem!!" one of her associates exclaimed.

Both of them walk out from the room to see a group of people swarming around the building that they hid themselves. One of the crowd screamed, "Bring those two back to us, you kidnappers!!" Chloé Bourgeois, the lady in questions clicks her tongue out of spite. "How did they knew that we kidnapped them and brought them here?" one of her companions questions the logic of the situation when Chloé Bourgeois grunted, "It's him." Her companions look down in shocked as they saw Aqif who is now given treatment stood tall in front of the building. "That prick just really can't die, huh?" "Let's own that cunt!" With the ladies taunting Aqif for existing, Chloé Bourgeois looks at her trusted companion, Sabrina Raincomprix and ordered, "Deal with him." Sabrina Raincomprix nodded as she signals her followers to accompany her towards Aqif.

The tension is getting higher as the crowd are getting restless for not giving an immediate answer. "We need to go in. Now." Aqif said to Hidayah and her father. Hidayah glances at him. "You think that they're stalling?" "More than that. They know that I'm still alive, so they'll come for me. Once that happens, they start to move out secretly while we're distracted." Aqif explains. Hidayah's eyes widened. She looks at her father. Her father gave a firm nod to go along with Aqif while dealing with these people outside. Both Aqif and Hidayah went ahead through the crowd of people as one of them screamed, "Kick these foreigners out of our lands!!" The sounds of loud footsteps rushing down to the guards that are protecting the building. As the guards are preparing for a fight, few NATO troops jumped out from their hiding spot and lunges towards the crowd of neighbours. The battle began to break out as the sounds of clashing swords and gunshots pierced through the night's sky. Hidayah's father, who is amongst the crowd, managed to take down 5 of the kidnappers. One of the NATO troops took Hidayah's father by surprise as he jumps towards him. He tries to dodge away from the attack but there was no time. As the distance between him and the attacker shortens by a second, the attacker got shot precisely in the head. Blood splattered all over as the remains of his head plopped from the ground. He looks at the direction of the shot where he saw a lady wearing a black helmet and balck armor holding a Barrett M82. The lady lowered her sniper and gave Hidayah's father a nod. Out of nowhere a barrage sounds of gunshots were heard near at the front of the building. 4 people, whom have the similar appearence as the lady with the sniper, revealed themselves and attacked the kidnappers in a matter of minutes. 2 people that were holding a halberd and a ninjato slashes their enemies while the other two that held H.M.G. 46 and a Colt M4 carbine with RAS, M68 CCO gunning anyone that tries to get close to the neighnours.
