MATT WAS STREAMING in his room currently, it was two in the morning and you were waiting for him to come to bed, you were sitting on the couch eating a bag of takis while watching tv.
matt has recently become super distant with you, you didn't know if this was a mental health thing because of hate he may be getting, you also didn't know if it was maybe anxiety, but one thing you wished wasn't true was that he was distancing himself because he fell out of love with you.
you kept thinking if he is distancing himself from you because he fell out of love with you, but you tried not to believe it. you guys have been dating since you guys were fifteen, end of freshman year in high school. you both were surprised that it lasted this long.
you were currently watching an episode of henry danger until you heard someone speak, "you aren't going to bed yet?" chris spoke.
"nah, i gotta wait for m. also do you know when he's gonna be done streaming? i'm getting tired lowkey," you said, yawning right after.
"have no clue, i'll ask him," chris said.
"okay thank you, chris!" you said.
you always called matt 'm'. it started when you were in kindergarten.

you were on the swings until someone sat next to you. you looked over and saw a little boy around your age. "hi! i'm matthew," he spoke.
"hello, i am y/n," you said smiling.
"that's a very pretty name. mine is pretty basic," matthew said.
"no it isn't! i'll give you a nickname, hmm..." you said thinking.
"people just call me matt, it's the short version," he said.
