Next Chapter, woo! I felt pretty good after I finished that book cover (which I hoped you all liked) and I had a plan that seemed to work, thought it went out of the window after all the sh*t happened to me. Now I know it has been a long time since I have been in this fandom and delved into this type of story, please bear with me guys.

~Third Person POV~

A nervous Canada stands in front of the hotel where another world meeting is being held, knowing full well that he must carefully watch over his brother and protect him like a good big brother should. He takes a deep breathe, trying to calm his nerves and his anger towards the entitled assholes that called themselves nations before I enter the building. Canada head towards the front desk after heading inside, smiling shyly at the front desk clerk,

"Hello, I'm Matthew Williams. I'm here for the meeting, it is very important." She gives him a confused look, taping away on the keyboard and he sigh irritably, waiting for her to finish. As Canada waits, he thrum his fingers on the desk and she finally sees Canada on the roster for the meeting, giving him an awkward smile,

"Ah yes, there you are. Your room number is 108 and the meeting room number is 302." He nods, giving a quick thank you and leaves for the world meeting, Canada's thoughts wondering back to his brother and his behavior for a while, getting even more worried for him. Canada thinks back to all those times he failed him, getting so angry that his hands were balled into shaking fists. He stops at the meeting room, calming himself down again before going inside and sitting in a chair near the end of the table, noticing America was late. Again. Canada bit his lip as Germany stands up front, letting out a loud cough to get everyone's attention,

"Alright! Is everyone here?" He hears a scoff a few chairs away from him,

"Of course that bloody git America is late." Canada stifles a growl, trying to remain calm. Of course England would notice something like that.

"That idiota is probably yelling about being a 'hero' to some poor strangers.", Romano says testily with his arms crossed. He feels one of his eyebrows twitch in irritation, wanting to slug that bad mouth Italian in the face. Just as the other nations began to mad mouth about him in murmurs among themselves, Canada's brother barges in with his signature grin and laugh,

"The hero is finally here!". Most of the countries groan at this, France rolling his eyes,

"Just sit down, Amerique. No one else cares about your nonsense." He saw him chuckle, even though he saw hurt in his eyes. The meeting continued as usual with cruel jokes and insults thrown at Canada's brother relentlessly. It was making his blood boil, Canada felt like he could smash the faces in of his fellow so-called 'nations'. He snaps, stands up, his face visibly dark,

"Enough! I would like to please to stay on the meeting schedule and not hear a bunch of useless, whiny children snicker at someone else expense." Everyone quiets down, mouths gaping like fish. Germany snapped out of his stupor, coughing into a fist,

"Yes, let's continue." He glances over to America and saw him smiling in relief, making a small smile of his own crossing his face. Soon there was a lunch break and Canada saw his so called parents walking towards his little brother. He had to do something. Canada quietly walked towards them, standing in between them with a fake smile. France, he won't even call him papa anymore, smiled brightly when he saw me,

"Ah my petit ourson, how are you?" He tried not to roll his eyes at the flamboyant nation, keeping up the fake smile.

"Hello France, I'm fine.", Canada said, keeping it cordial. England huffs, crossing his arms like his usual grumpy self,

"Well it is nice to see a quiet, mature country rather than a bumbling, fool like him." Frances nods, agreeing with him,

"Oui, I have to agree. Amerique is so childish and annoying." Out of the corner of his eye he saw America's body tense, head down and staring at the floor, eyes probably tearing up. Canada's face turns stony, keeping his voice surprisingly calm even though he wanted to snap and yell at them, probably snapping their necks in the process.

"You are one to talk England. All you do is insult and yell at people, you aren't half the gentleman you claim to be." He then turns to France, "And you, you preach of love but all you do is spread hate and rumors about my little brother, so you have nothing to preach about." The poor excuse of caretakers, I mean England and France, was stunned, probably because no one has called them out or being douche bags.

France snapped out of it and tried to scold him, but one scalding look smartly shut his mouth. Canada turns to his brother, who was also staring at him, smiling gently and wraps an arm around his shoulders,

\"Let's go and get something to eat Al, we need to talk." He leads his younger sibling away from the abusive nations, trying to strike up small talk.

~Alfred's POV~

All sorts of thoughts were running through my head as the scene unfolded in front of me. Of fucking course England and France won't leave me alone, they must truly hate me to make me suffer like this. What I didn't expect was Canada to stand up to them like that, I thought he hated me like the rest of them. Why is he doing this? Did he see through me? Does...does he care? No, no...he couldn't, I need to be more careful. No one needs to see how weak I am. How broken I became. I'm the world's god damn super power, I'm supposed to be strong. A leader. Canada wants to take me out to eat but I shouldn't. I'm already a disgusting fat whale. I'll throw up afterwards, I need the loose the pounds that I will gain and hopefully more. Maybe if I get skinny enough, the other nations would like me more.

Here is another chapter for you guys, I'm sorry this took sooo loong to publish. I have the art bug and can't shake it off (if you guys want to see my art you could go to my deviantart that is linked in my profile). Also, I wasn't that motivated due to medical issues that lead to to stay in the hospital for a while. I hope you all enjoy it and please remember to like, comment, share, and read my other stories.
