"There you are!" Arabella sighed in relief as she took the kittens in her arms, trying to ignore Choi Han's presence. The two kittens cuddled up in her chest, it stopped raining, thankfully, but the air is quite humid.

Meow.

"Aw," She cooed, "You sweet things,"

'He really is a good guy.'

According to the novel(but according to her big brother, the jury is still out for that one because it sounds like a guidebook to him), Choi Han twists his ankle after unexpectedly twisting his body to avoid hurting the kitten. He had run like crazy to reach Western City after killing tens of people for the first time and burying the corpses of the villagers. His body had reached its limit making him unable to land properly after making such a movement.

Meeeeow Meeeeeeow.

Arabella gazed at the kitten that was curled up and shaking, as well as the other kitten that seemed to be its sibling licking the shaking kitten. She then turned her gaze.

Before she could open her mouth, the scent of alcohol entered her nose. She flinched as there was an unknown voice coming from behind her.

"Wow, I can't believe there's a young lady that was alone in the dark. I guess I was lucky today."

Arabella's rosy face suddenly turned pale. Her heart also beat wildly as she looked at the drunk man that was now in front of her. She did not have a lot of good experience with old men when they were drunk, her body now was weak as it is, she started to get scared.

"Hisssss!"

The cats suddenly went in front of her and started hissing at the drunk man. They were protecting Arabella.

"Go away or I'll call the guards!"

"How scary! But it's so unfortunate for you since there's no guard nearby," the drunk man said as he licked his lips.

His actions send chills all over Arabella's body. She started to step backward to keep the distance between herself and the drunk man. However, the drunk man only came closer and even closer each time Arabella took her step.

That's why the only solution that came out inside Arabella's mind was to shout as loud as she can.

Arabella's back is finally against the wall which means she is unable to take a further step away from the drunk man. She started to prepare her voice and then looked at the cats that were hissing at the man as he got closer.

The cats also seem ready to attack.

"Hisssss!"

The cats let out a loud hissed when the drunk man immediately grabbed her by the arm and yanked it hard. With her weak body, and feeble bones, she did hear her shoulder being dislocated.

"Ahh!" She let out a painful scream. Damn, this body was really weak. Everyone had been doing their best to help her regain some strength, but suddenly being pulled like this was not good for her body at all.

Before the man could pull her closer to his disgusting body, someone punched the man. It was Choi Han.

The drunk man collapsed on the floor yet still Choi Han didn't stop himself from beating the man. Watching the scene gives Arabella a nightmare and at the same time the feeling of relief, as she slumped down to the ground.
