TWO WEEKS AND FIVE DAYS LATER

"Mr. Rana, Mr. Smith wanted to talk to you. Should I give him permission to attend the meeting?" My associate asked.

"No. Tied him with chains in the basement in London, we'll meet there", I said in a calm yet cold voice. "Fucker should know his place, limit and how to be a man. Make sure not to give him a single drop of water and about food, it's far away to feed him ", I continued.

My associate bowed with respect before settling on the sofa in my study room.

Suddenly, the phone buzzed on the table, its shrill ringtone slicing through the quiet of the late afternoon. I glanced at the screen, rolling my eyes at the name that lit up, "Adhyansh".

"Bark", I muttered under my breath, picking up the call. The moment I pressed the green button, his familiar voice cracked through the speaker.

"Woof-Woof".

"I mean speak up, idiot", I scoffed.

"Han, toh yeh bol nah. Mai bahut padha-likha insaan hu", He barked.

"Are you going to speak?" I asked, irritatingly.

"Toh mera bhoot bol raha tha kya just thoda der pahle? Achha chal bye-bye, mereko mera kaam yaad aa gaya", He cut the call before I started giving him a lecture.

"Maa-sa, Arthisha and I are going to the city mall", My sister, Rudrabhiravi's voice touched my ears.

"Are you asking or telling me?" My mother asked.

"I'm telling you maa-sa. Woh kya hai nah bina bataye nahi jaana chahti thi", My sister said softly. Before tears could fall from my mother's eyes, she backed off. Rudrabhiravi went back to her chamber to bring her handbag with her.

"Meri dulaari aunty", A male voice echoed in the living hall.

Here he came, I rolled my eyes at him.

"Hayee mera puttar, kitna dubra gaya hai", My mother blessed him as he bent to touch her feet. I rolled my eyes again and scoffed.

"Aunty, aapko jalne ki sudhand aa rahi? Mujhe bahut tez aa rahi, mera naak dukhne laga" He smirked looking at me while hugging my mother. I rolled my eyes at his antics.

"Hey! You stupid kid, back off. Leave my wife", My father's voice beamed in the living hall. Now, I smirked at him and he rolled his eyes.

"She is my beautiful aunty and why should I leave her? Aunty, samjha den uncle ko thoda sabar karne ka" He said, my mother was combing his messy hair through her fingers.

"Aunty ke laadle, toh kya apne handsome uncle se nahi milega?" My father pinched his left cheek.

My father blessed him as he bent to touch his feet and captured him in a fatherly hug. He opened his right arm, telling me to join them. In his left arm he was hugging Adhyansh.

"Adhyansh bhaiyaaaaaaaaa", We broke our hug as my sister, Rudrabhiravi's voice beamed in the living hall. I stood beside her, so she won't feel alone,

"My Princessssssss" He screamed with high josh.

Before Rudrabhiravi could touch his feet he held her hands to stop her and said, "Larkiyaan neeche nahi jhukti".

He, himself, bent down and touched her feet. "Bless you", She showed her toothish smile.

"Meet her, she is my best friend, Arthisha", Rudrabhiravi introduced.

"Na...Namaste", She stuttered and joined her palms together.

"Namaste", He also joined his palms together.
