hah... this is so exhausting" minho collapsed onto a nearby couch with his body spread out into a star-like shape. "you literally contributed nothing, be so for real right now." chan was currently attempting to get ahold of hyunjin, who was keeping seungmin distracted, or at least attempting to? (chan hoped)
"nuh uh, i put those banners up!" minho pointed towards the large banners that said, "H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y S E U N G M I N" "you held jisung so HE could put it up, HOW DOES THAT HELP??!" jeongin snapped his head towards minho, distrupting his pacing around the large hall.
"whats gotten into him?" hanji walked into the room with a huge box, supposedly the cake. "its his boyfriends birthday party in an hour and nothing is prepared, he has a reason to stress." changbin rushed over to help jisung with the box.
"RAHH WHY WONT HE PICK UP?!" chan screamed as he tapped his phone aggressively. "oh! hyun texted me." felix said, taking his phone out of his pocket. seeing chans face made minho burst into the biggest laugh he's had in a while. "well, what does it say?" jisung looked over felixs shoulder.

"but aren't we finished with the gifts?" jisung muttered. "not yet.." felix looked at jeongin with a tiny smirk on his face. he grabbed ribbon from a nearby table and snook up to jeongin, tackling him.

hyunjin jumped up when he saw a notification from felix pop up on his phone. "FINALLY!" he cried in joy. being stuck in a room with an angry seungmin wasn't his ideal choice but minho insisted on staying with jisung.
seungmins watched hyunjin slowly unlock the door with a small key, "YOU HAD A KEY THIS ENTIRE TIME??" he ran out of the door into an empty hallway. "don't worry, i wanted to leave too." hyunjin said as put the key back in his pocket and walked over to the eye-catching, ginormous hall doors, stopping a good two steps before it. "now you wait here." he instructed seungmin whilst slipping through a small gap he made.
"birthday boys outside." hyunjin took a look around the decoration that everyone had set up and all the guest who'd arrived. "great, ill tell everyone to settle down and when i give you thumbs up, bring him in, kay?" chan asked hyunjin as he fixed his outfit hurriedly. hyunjin only nodded, walking over to the door, with his arm around felix.
the room became silent as chan spoke through the microphone, "testing testing, nice," he said as he saw everyone's attention go towards him, "as you know, we're all gathered here to celebrate the birthday of kim seungmin but, where is he, you may ask. well, as much as we would love to let him in, we also need everyone to take a seat at your reserved table and we will soon be opening the presents. thank you!"

han watched as everyone took a seat then gave hyunjin the signal. hyunjin let go of felix and opened the grand doors, revealing a confused seungmin. the confused elements of his face changed into a surprised one when he saw the sight. his eyes wandering everywhere, looking out for a specific someone.
he walked down the carpet rolled out in the centre of the room, waving and bowing as people from left and right greeted him. seungmin walked over to chan that was already chatting. "where's jeongin?" he said as he grabbed chans shoulder.
"oh, hi there! im doing fine thank you, thank you," chan exclaimed, the sarcasm obvious in his voice. "ha ha, seriously, where is he?!" "you'll know by opening your gifts!!" cahn said as he dragged seungmin onto the stage with him.
"can i please have everyone's attention as we open the presents! thank you, again." chan handed seungmin one from the gifts from the back, ushering him to open it. this was followed with many others handing him boxes and seungmin opening them, until there was no more.
chan took the microphone one more time, "now, it may look like we have finished, but, there is still one very special present left for seungmin, meaing, his eyes must be covered. felix?" chan set down the mic whilst felix put a blindfold over seungmins face.
that's when minho and changbin walked into the room with jeongin who had a ribbon bow over his head and a cake in his hand. felix and chan removed the blindfold as hyunjin, jisung and the crowd sang happy birthday loudly.
however, the only thing that was drawn to seungmins attention was jeongin. he had an all white outfit on, gem pieces dangling from his hair and a chain of flowers falling elegantly from his waist.
by the end of the song, the three had stopped infront of seungmin, jeongin holding the cake in his face. "make a wish and blow the candles out." jeongin mumbled with a smile on his face. seungmin smiled back and thought to himself before blowing the flames out, everyone else cheering. "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!" jisung screamed, jumping up and down.
seungmin and jeongin looked at eachother whilst everyone celebrated, "i love you." seungmin mumbled as he took jeongins waist. "i love you more." jeongin said back, and with that, seungmin took his face in his hands and kissed him lightly on the lips. everyone cheering yet again.
