Aria's heart still fluttered from her conversation with Liam the previous day. As she walked to her next class, the sound of screeching tires and shattering glass pierced the air.

A car had skidded off the road, hydroplaning on the wet pavement. Liam rushed to help, his movements swift and decisive.

"Call 108!" Liam shouted to Aria as he approached the wreckage.

Aria fumbled for her phone, her hands shaking. "Oh no, oh no, oh no..." she whispered.

Liam carefully opened the driver's door. "Hey, are you okay, sir?"

The driver, a shaken middle-aged man, nodded. "Y-yes...I think so."

Aria arrived with her phone. "I called 108. They're on their way."

Maya appeared, her face pale and worried. "What happened?"

Liam's expression turned grim. "Just a wreck. Everyone's okay."

But Aria caught Maya's whispered words: "This isn't an accident. Liam, be careful."

Aria's eyes locked onto Maya's, searching for clarification. But Maya's gaze darted away.

"Maya, what do you mean?" Aria asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Maya's eyes flashed with warning. "Nothing. Just...be careful around Liam."

As they waited for the paramedics, Liam checked the driver's vitals. Aria watched, impressed by his calm expertise.

"Thanks for helping," the driver said, tears welling up.

Liam smiled reassuringly. "You're going to be okay."

After the paramedics arrived and took the driver to the hospital, Liam turned to Aria. "I should get back to class."

Aria nodded. "Yeah, me too."

As they walked back to school, Aria couldn't shake off the feeling that Liam's secrets were only the beginning.

"Liam, what's going on?" Aria asked, her voice low.

Liam's gaze met hers, his expression guarded. "Just a coincidence."

But Aria sensed more. "You know something, don't you?"

Liam's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?"

Aria's voice dropped to a whisper. "Maya's words... 'This isn't an accident.' What did she mean?"

Liam's face tensed, and for a moment, Aria thought he wouldn't answer.

"I don't know," Liam said finally. "Let's just focus on getting through the day."

Aria nodded, but her mind whirled with questions.

What secrets was Liam hiding? And what did Maya's warning really mean?
