Chapter 4.

This is continuing from the last chapter, except it's a time skip of the weekends, but I won't be doing this whole school week sooo

Kai's pov:

Todays the day I go to Leo's house, I'm finally not grounded so that means I can go out with Levi at some point this week, but for some reason he is constantly starting to go out with Mace. I've got to find out what's going on between them! Anyways I'm in my house getting ready to go to Leo's house since school has ended. I put on a simple hoodie and jeans as I'm not going anywhere special, why would I impress that prick anyways.

I leave without acknowledging my parents, it's not like they would answer anyways. I start to go on a walk to his house, for some reason he goes into the dorms, but he got lucky and is in his own dorm, I'm planning to go to the dorms for a day when my parents annoy me. I arrive at his dorm, not excited at all, and knock on the door. The door starts creaking open slowly and to my eyes I see Leo with his hair down, giving him slight bangs and he was slightly wet. Why is my heart beating like that, I see people wet most times! This isn't any different.

"You gonna come in or stand there like a stray dog!" Leo yells, bringing me back down to reality,  he's looking annoyed as if I've been standing there for a long time. But at this point, I'm not sure what the case is. "just let me in!" I shout, but for some reason, Leo just laughs? He also slightly smiles while letting me in, I just walk in giving weird looks before entering.
"So, what are we going to do on our project?" He asks. "We could try a slideshow and present it next week?" I recommend, but for some reason, it's different.. my heart is beating fast sitting in his house with no one. This is really strange and I want to leave, but I could get grounded again, for even longer! So I can't.

What the f*ck am I thinking, I don't mean anything that I said. I can't help but notice the strange setting in his dorm, it's organised but messy too. You know what, maybe I'm overthinking this, I'm probably just tired. "Kai? Hello?!" Leo shouts again bringing me back down. He starts to glare at me as if I haven't been listening for the past 10 minutes. Why won't he just shut up?! "Y-yeah! I understand! Can we just do each slide per day of this week? But like...take in turns?" I say annoyed, which was probably obvious because Leo was making a face, too. "Can I go now?!" I say starting to get bored being in his dorm. "Okay fine, leave now, my number is, (*********) so just text me if you need anything else." Leo states before watching me leave his dorm and locking the door securely.

I begin my journey to walk home, but to my occurrence, I see Levi. But this is not the same, he looks really... grumpy? Or sad? I'm not quite sure what feeling it is, but it does not look happy whatsoever. Suddenly get the urge to pass by him and talk with him. "Hey Levi! Come here!" I shout across the road, but Levi just glances and nods. Normally he would shout back, and smile, but he didn't, he just nodded silently and walked over. "Wanna come over? Levi suddenly asks looking at me as if he's desperate for me to go over to his house. So I just decide to nod, my parents can ground me later, I don't think they would mind me going over his house anyways.

We then go to Levi's house and an awkward silence fills the room, just one staring at the tv and one staring at the other. I decide to break the silence by saying, "Levi, what was the real reason you invited me over?" I say in a tone that probably didn't sound nice, as Levi immediately froze, but to my surprise he answered, "you really wanna give dating advice?" He looked at me raising one eyebrow up and chuckling, "never given advice, but could try." I say, I am good at giving dating advice so I probably could help. I look at him observing his demeanour more, and he seems WORSE?! I'm just trying to help him!! "Well.... Kai? I'm dating mace." He says as if he's confessed a crime, or that's how I took it. Hes dating mace?! And here I thought mace was an enemy of mine and his! And hes a guy!!!?? This is confusing. "You know why I think it's better you go, let's talk at school". He says while glancing at the door, I decide to listen anyways as the air was beginning to become awkward and silent.

I exit the house and continue my walk across the road to my house. "I'm home". I say quietly not expecting an answer, as my parents are probably sleeping. I still feel those weird feeling that I felt at Leo's house, but that was definitely sickness. So I should probably sleep it off.
