"All barks and no bite," he said. The thrill of watching Rune's struggle sent a rush of adrenaline through him. "Look at you, my sweet little kitten. Such a fierce little thing, throwing around vases like it's a weapon."
Aedion chuckled darkly, his voice laced with amusement. "But you're just as broken as this vase," he crushed the vase in his inked hand with a sudden, harsh grip. The vase shattered into jagged pieces, and the force of the impact drove sharp edges into his tan skin, blood flowing from his inked hands.
"Didn't I strictly tell you to get fucking dressed? Or do you have a hobby of running around naked like a whore."
"Fuck off, Devlin. Leave me alone!"
Aedion chuckled softly at Rune's outburst. He threw the shattered pieces of the vase down with a harsh, forceful movement, the jagged fragments clattering against the jet's floor with a sharp thud.
Rune flinched at the sudden, harsh movement, his eyes widening with fear as he watched the glass scatter. He took an accidental step back, and the sharp shards dug into his already wounded foot, which was filled with glass pieces.
"Ah!" he cried out, the sound faint and small, barely more than a whimper. His breaths came in quick, shaky gasps as he stared at the dangerous shards now spread across the floor, the pain evident in his trembling form.
"Careful, kitten," Aedion said as he stepped closer. "You don't want to step on that." His eyes gleamed with a predatory light as he watched Rune's every reaction.
Rune flinched at the sound of Aedion's husky voice, his eyes widening with fear. He took a hesitant step back, his wounded foot throbbing with every movement, the sharp glass fragments digging deeper into his already bloodied pale flesh. He clenched his fists tightly, trying to ignore the pain.
Rune's gaze darted between the dangerous shards on the floor and Aedion's approaching figure. His heart pounded in his chest as he tried to retreat, his steps weakening on the bloodied glass.
"You really should learn to be more careful," he whispered. "Because if you keep pushing me, I might just have to teach you a lesson you won't forget."
"Stop..." whispered the kitten in fear.
"No" whispered the beast back.
Rune's back hit the jet's wall with a thud, the impact startling his already fragile state. He stood there, pinned against the well, vulnerable, as Aedion closed the distance between them.
He took his time, inching closer, his movements slow, enjoying the fear that was on Rune's face. The closer he got, the more Rune's trembling intensified, and Aedion enjoyed it, feeding off the helplessness, the sheer terror etched in the kitten's wide, glassy eyes.
Aedion leaned in, his inked head touching the jet's wall, trapping Rune in place. The air between them crackled with tension, his body pressing in close, a physical barrier that left the kitten nowhere to escape.
He gazed down at Rune with cold, calculating eyes, his dark gaze locking onto the Rune's pale, fear-stricken eyes.
"Look at you," Aedion whispered. "Broken and trembling, with nowhere left to run. It's almost poetic, isn't it? The fierce little kitten, undone by his own fear, helpless and mine."
Rune's breaths came in quick, rapid gasps, his pale eyes wide with fear.
"You're causing a lot of trouble," Aedion said. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against Rune's face. "And it's making it really hard for me to keep my hands from tearing you apart."
His inked fingers twitched with barely-contained eagerness, as if they ached to delve into Rune's flesh, to rip and tear with a primal hunger.
The idea of watching Rune writhe, scream, and break under his touch was a perverted delight to Aedion. The space between them grew charged with a dangerous allure, every breath heavy with the aftermath of earlier violence.
Rune's eyes widened as he stared up at Aedion. His breaths were quick. "Please," Rune managed to choke out, his voice trembling. "Just let me go... I won't say anything, I swear. I'll keep my mouth shut. You'll never hear from me again, I promise."
Aedion's smirk only grew wider, a dark amusement flickering in his dark eyes as he leaned in closer. "Oh, kitten," he whispered. He extended his inked hand, caressing his finger down Rune's flushed cheek, enjoying the way Rune flinched beneath his touch. "You think begging is going to save you? That a few tears are going to make me change my mind?"
Aedion leaned in closer, his presence looming over Rune. Rune's body tensed, every muscle straining as he sucked in a shaky breath, trying to brace himself for or to try to hide from Aedion's sharp gaze. His wide, fearful eyes locked onto Aedion's.
"You see, kitten," Aedion continued, his breath hot against Rune's ear, "I don't mind a bit of a fight. In fact, I enjoy it. But you..." He paused, his gaze trailing down Rune's almost bare body. "You're testing my patience. And trust me, that's not something you want to do."
Aedion's grip tightened on Rune's biceps, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he leaned in closer. His lips lingered, just above Rune's skin, and he ran his nose slowly along the curve of Rune's neck, inhaling deeply. The scent was intoxicating, like dark wine—rich, sweet, and utterly tempting.
Rune squeezed his eyes shut and turned his head sideways, avoiding Aedion's gaze. His throat was already badly bruised and throbbing with pain. Aedion's touch made it worse, pushing him to the edge and making it even harder for him to hold back.
"What's your relationship with Adriano?," Aedion asked.
"Why would I tell you?" Rune replied, his voice trembling slightly despite his stubborn attitude, his throat burning with pain. Fear coursed through him, but he tried to cover it with a brave act. A stubborn kitten, indeed.
Aedion chuckled darkly, clearly amused by Rune's stubbornness despite everything that had happened. "After all this you're still going to be a stubborn shit? Not gonna lie, it's quite amusing"
"You're playing coy with me, and I don't appreciate it. I asked you a simple question. I expect a simple answer."
Rune's gaze shifted nervously, his voice trembling. "What do you know about me? Why should I tell you about Adriano after everything you've done to make this worse?"
Aedion's smirk deepened as he tightened his grip on Rune's biceps. "I don't need to know anything about you," he said. "You're just another one of my bitch that I bought. It's much simpler for you if you tell me about Adriano."
Rune's breath quickened, his body tensing under Aedion's harsh grip. "Why should I make it easy for you? You've already made this hell for me."
"You think this is hell?" he chuckled. "You haven't seen anything yet."
Rune shivered, the heat of Aedion's eyes sending a jolt of fear through him. "You're a psychopath," he said as memories of earlier violence flashed through his mind.
Aedion's gaze remained fixed on Rune, a glimmer of dangerous pleasure in his dark gray eyes. "I prefer to think of myself as creative," he replied. He traced his inked finger lightly along Rune's jawline.
Rune shivered, the proximity and the heat of Aedion's eyes sending a jolt through him. "I won't give in," he said, though his voice was trembling as the flashbacks of earlier events came through.
Aedion's annoyance was visible, his patience wearing thin. "You're making this harder on yourself, Kitten," he said. "If you keep resisting, you'll find yourself tossed to the wolves, and trust me, they'll have a fucking field day with you. And I'm the only one keeping you safe from something far worse."
