Leaving too soon

Elijah POV

My throat hurt, my eyes burned, and the heat radiating onto my body made me feel dizzy. I didn't know how many days it had been that I was down here in the heater room. Ma had locked me in here, but I knew she would come back. She always did. 

I held my body tighter as my belly rumbled, I could feel the sweat coming out of my pores. I felt icky, and hungry and even a bit sick but its okay. Ma would be back soon.

The heater room was dark and loud from the all the rumbling from the large machine. The floor was concrete and my bum hurt from sitting so much but I had no strength to stand.

I shouldn't be feeling sad though, it was all my fault that I was in trouble and I just had to face the consequences. I closed my eyes tightly as all the sweat on my body dripped over all the cuts on my back, it stinged a lot.

Dizzy. I felt so dizzy. My head ached my body ached. Ma would be back soon enough I thought as I layed flatly, curling up on the floor.

I didn't even realize I fell asleep, but the loud pounding on the door definitely startled me awake. I shuffled back accidently burning myself on the heater. Tears filled my eyed and a loud whimper escaped from my throat.

"He's here!" I heard someone scream from the other side of the door.

Why was someone looking for me? Ma had to be the one to take me out of time out. Maybe she had forgotten where she put me?

Before I could think more the door was busted open and a man that was dressed like a firefighter appeared in the broken doorway.

Startled I shifted once again back and this time my entire back touched the heater. I screamed in pain jolting forward. The man approached me slowly talking.

"Hey buddy, its time for you to get outa here isn't it?" He said with a smile on his face, his long beard moving as he talked.

I shook my head no wrapping my hands around my body tightly, I could hear commotion from outside the room. Ma was the only one allowed to take me out of time out.

He frowned stooping down to my level. "Why not bud? We can go get something for you to eat, Its a bit too hot for you to stay in here,"

His smile dropped a bit as he tried to convince me,  food did sound good right now but I needed Ma's permission. She put me here for a reason and I wasn't just going to let a stranger make me break a rule.

Another man also dressed like a firefighter appeared in the door way throwing a blanket to the man stooped to my level and saying something I didn't quite catch since his voice was so deep.

"Okay, Elijah right? listen bud, we need to get outa this room," He said leaving no room for denial as he got closer to me with the blanket wide spread out. 

As he got closer I made the mistake once again of burning my back on the heater , I screamed in pain and he took that as an advantage to pick me up swiftly wrapping my in the blanket as he held me tightly making his way out of the room. I thrashed and kicked in his hold but I  know it did nothing as I felt very weak and also this man had to be a dom with how strong he was.

As we got out of the heater room my eyes burned with how bright it was. There were a few other people in the basement but I really needed to get back into the heater room.

"No no no!" I screeched as I fought with his grip. Ma would be so angry if she ever found out that I got out of time out! I panicked my breathe quickening as I continued to thrash in his arms. He tried to calm me down and soothe me. I didn't care if I was embarrassing myself Infront of the other in the room.

That however didn't last for long as I felt the dizziness in my head come back, I whimpered finally giving up  and going limp in his arms as the pain of my body and head finally consumed me.
