Chapter 1: New Girl In Town

The day started as normal. The only thing different was Victoria woke up in her new house that she just bought in Los Angeles. Victoria is a 27 year old woman from Wyoming who decided she needed to get out and start a new part of her life in a new area, so she packed up her life and moved to LA to get her career as an actress. She didn't leave much behind as the only family she had abandoned her when she was 16. That day she left for school and when she came back she found a letter from her mother saying she was leaving and she would be back soon, but she never came back.

Victoria got up out of bed and stretched before she checked her phone. She saw it was going to be a nice day to go out and explore the town, especially since she doesn't know anything about the area or anybody in the city. She also wanted to go check out where her new job is as she had a job set up as a host for a radio station. she walked over to her closet and went through boxes and suitcases looking for an outfit to wear. Victoria picked out a pair of jeans and a baggy tshirt as she wanted to be comfortable, but also looks like she put some effort into her outfit. After she got dressed, she walked into her bathroom brushing her hair and putting on a little bit of makeup. Victoria heads downstairs grabbing her sunglasses and her keys before heading to the door where she puts her shoes on and grabs her purse. Before she walks out of the house, Victoria takes a look back at her living room and kitchen. There wasn't a whole lot of furniture as she just moved in a few days ago and she just bought furniture so she had the basic necessities. There are boxes around the place with some stuff she will still need to unpack including unpacking her whole office for her twitch streams. Victoria started streaming on Twitch at the start of the pandemic due to the fact her work had her on temporary leave while still being paid and she enjoyed playing video games while she was stuck at home and a friend of hers suggested streaming on twitch and she enjoys it " we will have to unpack the office when I get back from my adventure" she said to herself so she has a mental reminder before she closes the door. Little does she know she won't be back to her house that night to unpack that office.

In the city, Louis was in the recording studio working on his next album. He has been working day and night writing and recording and he finally got a break for a few hours, so he decided to go home and take a nap. After his nap, Louis got changed and decided he was going into town to get food and coffee. He goes back into town and goes to his favorite restaurant having lunch while he scrolls through social media seeing people talking about his latest interview. Lately, he has been questioned by friends, family, and in interviews about his love life since he just hit his early 30s they've been asking him if he plans to settle down soon and it is the same answer he tells everyone, that he will settle down when he finds the right woman. He sighs and once he finished his lunch he pays and walks down to his favorite coffee shop. Once he walks in he goes up to the counter where he sees a barista and a women standing by the side of the counter waiting for her order " hey Louis how are you?" The barista at the counter asked " hey Emily I'm alright how are you?" he asked " I'm good you want your casual or studio order?" she asked him " studio order. I'm about to go back after this so tea and coffee " he said and paid after she puts in his order. He walked over to the side for pick up and he stood by the woman but not too close. He looked over at her and gave her a pleasant greeting smile. She looked at him and gave him one back.

Victoria had went to the coffee shop after she had finished exploring the city to get a generic idea of where everything is as well as checking out the building of where her new job was at. She liked the coffee shop as soon as she walked in and she goes to order herself a coffee. Her usual order for coffee which is an Iced caramel macchiato. She also decided to try one of the desserts the shop had and she asked the barista to pick for her and she decided to pick it out after her coffee was done. She talked to her for a little bit since she was new in town and trying to socialize " oh I know which house you're talking about I actually live next door " The barista said " Oh wow that's amazing well its nice to meet you new neighbor" " nice to meet you too Victoria and you can call me Emily " " okay well I'm glad I got to know one person for now" Victoria said and they both giggled a bit before they heard the door open. Emily excused herself so she could help the customer coming in. She stepped to the side and looked through her phone for a little bit. She heard Emily talking to the guy like she knew him for a long time and the dude had a very nice accent. She knew it was British as she had taken a few trips to England and she really liked their accents. Once she heard him order tea and coffee she knew he was trying to stay awake. She herself had to order tea and coffee a few times when she needed to stay awake for something important. She looked over as the guy walked over to the side she was on then she realizes he was a bit taller than her as she started to look up at him a bit. She also got a closer look at him and honestly she thought he was very attractive. He had a great sense of style, very nice tattoos which honestly reminded her of a time her mother talked to her about boys and how the ones with tattoos are the bad boys. His eyes a blue/green like the ocean, which has been Victoria's favorite place to be. she could get lost into his eyes and she almost did until he gave her a smile that warmed her heart a little bit as when he smiled his eyes squinted a bit and she thought it was adorable. She gave him a smile back then looks down at her phone before putting it in her pocket " so tea and coffee... must be a busy day huh?" she asked trying to start a small conversation while she waits for her order. He looks at her " uh yeah a long day at the studio heading back from having a break" he said. She nods " yeah. voice actor?" she asked " nope singer...actually singer/songwriter" "oh wow that's awesome " " yeah what do you do for a living? " he asked her " oh well I just moved into town but starting Monday you'll be hearing me on the radio for 95.5 KLOS from noon to 8pm" she said " that's amazing. Have you always wanted to be in radio? " " uh no I want to eventually be an actress, but this is a start to keep me financially stable" he nods " that's good" he said. Victoria could see he was about to say something else but was interrupted by Emily
